  1. Looked like a bunch of jawing at ref...not sure though.
  2. Rolled out into an obvious strong side blitz from corner. Surely we have a play for blitzing.....
  3. Tiger def needed that little breather. Makes all the difference for the second half.
  4. Horrible pass but fantastic play by the receiver. TD.
  5. Some confusion on defense but for some reason the stangs dropped the safeties and matched up on the line.
  6. WOS running isolation plays on corners. Athlete on athlete on one side of field with no help up top.
  7. Tigers hold on defense. Turnover on downs. 0 - 0 7:21 1 st qtr
  8. Eight in the box all night. Very little chance of any developing plays. Need quick plays.
  9. Is there a video broadcast tonight? It's not up.
  10. Putting the jokes aside it's basic numbers for now.... Smith has always kept it tight to the vest. But its obvious right now that Silsbee is working thru major personnel changes. No depth with experience has it's challenges.... Exactly where WOS was two years ago. It's cyclical and there is no shame In it. Oline issues, no WR experience or cohesion with QBs equals a slow and mostly ineffective offense. Dline injuries and crazy young secondary equals big plays after 2 1/2 qtrs. It's not a knock on players, only an observation. But....come playoffs Silsbee can and might hurt someone's feelings (Besides Carthage). I can accept that and I will wish the 'Stangs all the success to keep the 409 in the conversation. Build it deep Smoketown and be ready for the future battles if it doesn't work out this year. My two cents...
  11. In reality....the Tigers performance was overestimated by some. OF probably played the best game they could considering. After the first half performance of Tigers offense didn't create the lead expected Orangefield switched gears to clock control to keep momentum. Shades of Liberty/WOS a few years ago. Big decisions for the coaches to make. I say go all in on establishing younger players with speed of game. Jmo
  12. Tigers have some big decisions to make as for the offensive side of things. Defense is doing everything they can to keep this game in check. No way they can stay on the field this long the whole season. Injuries will start to accumulate.
  13. Unbelievable. I have yet to see ANY kind of passing connection. Either the receivers have no idea or the QBs are clueless.
  14. This game is obviously a development game for younger players. Mistakes will be made and hopefully it kills all the "issues" with established players. Need someone, anyone, to step up and lead.
  15. I feel ya but the truth hurts.... Can't hit the slant.... Can't hit the out route.... Slow release only leaves the PA or the fly... It's not a knock...just the facts. When you're weak on other aspects of offensive schemes you have to have the other to balance it out. It was good to be faced off with top tier defense... It will makes them better in the end but Carthage and PG will be waiting. If you want the ship you have to be balanced Super impressed with defensive schemes tonight, it has the makings to really define the season if the offense can find it's rhythm. #TigerNation
  16. Your point? We usually start out 1-4. Go find a different pot.
