You don't have to do anything. Wanna have good sportsmanship it should have started with the trash talk at coin flip. If Coach Smith, School admins didn't have a problem with it then let it drop. I don't think it's disrespectful if you don't take a knee. I know it's a tradition and a common theme of respect but there was no intent at disrespect... Hell almost the whole team was kneeling. You don't see basketball players, baseball players, soccer players.... Lots of examples.

It hurts but it's facts. Congratulate the players & coaches who were playing in the Semi's instead of down playing their efforts.

Tough game. Whittington was the real deal and pretty much singlehandedly won this game. Respect. My Tigers were gamers.

With Taylor not taking alot of snaps after shoulder injury has taken a bunch of the pop from run game. It's all business between the tackles tonight.

Makes no sense to bait or even take the bait about this game. Cuero can be beat by Silsbee and Cuero has plenty of ability to beat Silsbee, if someone cant see that then its not even a discussion. Their stud was out for a bit if i understood correctly. He is what makes it tick. They have really good players but hes the main cog. You wont stop him everytime. Need to limit his opportunities.

Get the tag. As long as your registered you dont need the window tag. Had one for several years. Only way to travel in Texas, especially with my daughter in the Austin area. Money spent well over the long term.

As far as Quero... Silsbee is a ball control offense. Quero is a read option offense that is very effective. They like the wildcat, stretch plays and downfield passing. Much like Silsbee before Smith. Explosive offense but can be nullified with clock eating ground game. Throw in some defensive stops and turnovers and this game is suddenly close, like Aggies suggested. Keep laying the wood.

Take 99 Toll Road to get to Katy in decent time. If you head I10 @ 5 PM you are asking for it.

As in most cases.... you were way off. Game goes down as an all time experience in my book. Stadium wasnt empty considering weather and it wont be forgotten by Silsbee fans. Not by a long shot.

I happened to speak with the Cuero Coaches that were scouting the game, convenient since they cancelled theirs in San Antonio. They were hoping to see two teams that werent very good... his exact words. His next statement was..."That wasnt the case." they were amazed at the intensity of the game considering the weather. I for one am glad they left intimidated. They got to see teams that wasnt afraid to throw in a monsoon. That will leave a mark.

Half Back Pass that was busted up by #58. Dude was a menace the whole game. Stayed in the backfield and shut down the dive play consistently. Best case scenario: Completion for first down/TD. Worst case: Well you saw it.

Big hits all night. Two that were 4th Down plays and definite game changers. Represent.

For those of you who didnt go to game...h?! Atmosphere was electric!! Even with the weather. I sat through it. Loved It! Both teams played through it. Players were doing what they do best. Ball. Game Stats will tell the story. Defense. Turnovers. Clock management and one crazy play that left everybody going wt! (Even though I understand what was called and what went wrong.) WOS is a juggernaut opponent by reputation, tradition and a history of results. I can think of no better way to reach the Semis than to play them for it. Silsbee earned it. Period. They got out early by scoring on their talents, not the Mustangs weaknesses. Ill end by saying thank you to both teams for letting me be a part of it.
