  1. I wish they would but I doubt it
  2. AAW, you ruined it with 'It's very simple'...lol I have talked about a flat tax. Everyone pay 10% (arguable number). But, but, but If I pay 10% Musk should pay more. Nevermind his 10% is much larger than my 10%.
  3. This is great news for the Repub's in midterms and 2028. Come on AOC, show us your karate chop move
  4. So, had he not "promised" rainbows and unicorns you would have been ok with it they way you loved bidens weak performance
  5. I believe this is the clip you are talking about
  6. I hate that people lose a job but those decisions are made everyday in every job sector there is. I am in oil and gas, I have been through lay offs, had to hustle to find work with bills, kids and wife worried. No one was crying on a message board for me and I would not want them to. In my work, we hire contract guys to do some of the work for us. They are brought in with a timeline and work that needs to be completed. When it is done they are laid off and find another contract. If I kept guys on after the contract was over because I felt bad for them, our company would go bankrupt. Sort of like our government is doing right now. The government has a bunch of workers (hundreds of thousands) that basically have no oversight. They are not bad people but they have a system they can play. Many people on the left do not understand why we wanted a Donald Trump in office. The argument always was "he has no political experience". EXACTLY, look what decades of 'political experience' has gotten us. We need a business mind and model to make government efficient. If companies in the private sector were run like the government, the would not last 3 or 4 years.
  7. Or, the job is done and they are still sucking on the government teet do absolutely nothing.
  8. I get your deep hatred for Trump and still trying to convince everyone you're a conservative but this is not a left/right issue. Many of the people taking advantage of the tax code are huge democrat donors as well (George Soros comes to mind). If Hillary and Biden were losing so much sleep over this tax issue why haven't they done anything about it in their 30 and 50 years in political office? You want to know why? Because they love the same provisions that Trump and Musk use. But they have convinced people it is only big, bad, mean Trump. What people need to realize is the tax code is the problem. These ultra rich guys built the system and live within the system they built. As much as you want to blame Trump it is a whole cabal of folks from both sides. I can promise you this, if you had the money they had and the ability to do so, you would do the exact same thing the ultra wealthy do. It is funny you only blame Trump and Musk because of you hatred but aren't upset that Bezos, Buffett, Soros and thousands others do the exact same thing.
  9. With the current tax code (6,871 pages) it doesn't matter if you set the tax rate at 10% or 90%...........they will pay $0 in taxes. Stop griping about tax rates and start asking for the tax code to be done away with. Taxes could be really simple across the board from Musk and Bezos all the way down to me. Doesn't really matter what the rates are set at if the wealthy have all the write offs. BUT, none of them will attempt to change the tax code when all of their big money donors (on both sides of the aisle) want it and use the hell out of it
  10. There is no shortage of that in the Dem party
  11. No problem.........I was there when we beat powerhouse LaPorte in the dome. I remember LaPorte's offense sitting in the stands before warmups eating hotdogs. That being said, that was the best backfield in high school I have ever seen. They all signed with OU if I remember correctly.
  12. I thought what MTG did was stupid but I believe there is a slight difference between shouting something and then what Green did by shouting, standing and refusing to end your tantrum. Shout something then sit and be quiet. Or better yet just don't attend
  13. What year did you graduate Goslin?
  14. And get rid of the activist judges that aid them every step of the way
  15. Agreed, I just wish Sultis had not been so short sighted years ago.
  16. I am not downing REL in any way. Like I said, I went there, my parents went there. I guess my point was they had a golden opportunity years ago and did not take advantage of it.
  17. That is what should have been done when they built GCM. BUT there were too many folks that still felt they had to have Lee high school. I went to Lee and loved my time there but if Baytown would have done a freshman, soph. school and a jr/sr school like a lot of people wanted they could be competitive across the board. The superintendent at the time (Sultis) squashed this. I loved her dad (Mr. Pete) but her not so much. Now they have 3 schools that just can't compete and it is sad.
  18. At least 10 from the disruptive party have some integrity. Al Green is a total buffoon tho.
  19. And they vote and reproduce.
  20. They just can't help themselves. [Hidden Content]
  21. By and large most presidential addresses I have watched no matter what side the President was from all congress people were generally cordial. There are outliers from both camps but MTG acting a fool at one of Biden's addresses is not equivalent to what went on last night. What the world saw yesterday was an entire group that could not show an ounce of humility when a 13 year old boy that has survived brain cancer is introduced and given an honorary membership. Pelosi could not stop grinding her gums and wondering where her next drink was. To be clear, I am not outraged, I could really care less because every time these petulant little kids (liberal congress people) throw their tantrums more voters are pushed to our side. With midterms in the not so distant future, I hope Al Green does more Al Green stuff and the women in pink that support boys in girls sports keep pushing their transgender ideology. The grown-ups in the room will continue negotiating an end to the Ukrainian War, working on bolstering the economy, uncovering the money laundering and misuse of taxpayer money .
  22. I believe their (Dems) biggest issues lies with their leadership. No one will ever convince me that Schumer, Jeffries, Pelosi put the mandate down that no one will applaud, stand, do anything to cast any positive light on Trump or you will be cast out. Al Green is probably having parties thrown for him today in the Dem circles.
  23. It's the kind of things that can happen when the grown ups are in charge. The democrats proved that there are no grown ups in their group last night.
  24. I get that. I have a few folks on Facebook that are libs and all they can do is talk negative about Trump. They have no solutions, no input at all. Just the same ol Trump is a nazi, serial rapist blah blah blah. I truly thought the last election would make them step back and say 'maybe we need to rethink our strategy. Maybe trans kid surgeries and letting boys play in girls sports is not the hill to die on.' But they seem to have doubled down and dug in on all of the social issues and everyday citizens are saying that is not the issues we need resolved.
  25. These heartless, gutless libs won't stand for a child with cancer
