Not to mention the tradition, a new offense, a new coach and people from all over Texas and yes many states pulling for them. This thread should be locked because the answer is clear
 2.

Heck Buddy.......Lee was relevent in the 60's thru the 90's but you can't live in the past now can you?
If you're H-D you can  ;)
Maybe the HD school board bought a Delorean with a flux capacitor for the fans.........it will be parked outside the stadium at home games for fans to "get their game faces on" in
 3. Sorry Soulja.....I will do better next time but it is tough to not use that coarse language when refering to our friends to the north.......kinda like being friendly with aggies, it can be done but dang it is tough
 4. Heck Buddy.......Lee was relevent in the 60's thru the 90's but you can't live in the past now can you?
 5. Central, Ozen and West Brook They will fight it out for the Beaumont Bowl Out in Hull Daisetta The ground sunk to make a big ol' hole Mosquitos at September football games Man they can make you itch And Dayton it does not matter how many playoff games you won last year You're still BH's b***h
 6. Buddy got it right.......Baytown is where I went to school........BH fan for the time being because my youngest is going there. But hey, at least I never spent any time in HD
 7.
Found the perfect Trophy to represent Beaumont ;) [img][Hidden Content]]
What an appropriate trophy to be shared between those 2 cities
 8.
Found yall a Video Soulja  ;) ]
WOW
 9.
IMO, I turf is overrated.  Silsbee needs to keep that grass turf.  It adds the unique feature to the stadium.
I agree.....football should be played outside on natural grass

 11. With kids having to supply the school with hand sanitizer, copy paper, kleenex, etc...... I think it is crazy for some of these purchases in athletic departments. I was not too happy to see BH adding field turf when they had a perfectly good grass field. I know, football is king and I am as big of a fan as anyone; but I do think sometimes school boards send the wrong message. Flame away
 12.
He is in 7th grade , he shouldn't be playing pee wee anyway!
Agreed....this isn't about playing with your friends it is about playing in your grade classification

But they got the same chance as everyone else. For now.  ???
You are very correct.....just as Rice is still in the hunt for the National Champ. at the moment......lol

 15. I do not have the details but I spoke with some coaching buddies yesterday that said Coach had gotten a good report in the last few days.
 16.

Look at the Stallworth picture that game was GCM vs. BH look at the difference in the Fan base!
How long has BH been around compared to GCM? With Lee or Sterling you would have a point.  Horrible turn out for those two, but GCM has only had two graduating classes when that picture was taken I am guessing. Barbers Hill probably has 8,000 living alumni compared to 800 for GCM. BH was also a winner last year.  I went to the Lee game at BH two years ago, wasn't a huge BH turnout.
I am confused on that picture........How did BH end up on the home sideline? There is not a pressbox on both sides is there?
 17. Just saw this........ [Hidden Content]
 18. Coach Byrd is a great coach and an even better man. He was a coach at Lee when I was there. I will be there September 9th
 19. They have that big sinkhole out there......pump it out and build a state-of-the-art sunken field
 20. HD guys will be really mad bobcat stadium was left off.........someone better photoshop it in there
 21. What a giant waste of money.......I am a high school sports fan but that is stupidity
 22.

Shaun Nixon moved to LT from Leander HS before his freshman year. Hmmmm i wonder what was the cause of that move.  ;)
exactly
It was probably purely for academics....... ;)
 23. I have had some of the best concessions at the small school games throughout SE Texas.....especially after the weather cools off and folks start bringing gumbos and beans and rice.
 24. Well, Huffman Hargraves was a really good team in the 80's with a running back Greg Moore I believe. Every school has their fans that love that team and everything about the Friday Night experience. I grew up in Baytown and never missed a Lee game.....great times. Lee had some great teams. The key word is had. Apparently HD has HAD some great teams but in the distant past. I lived in Thicket for 13 years and know the WH/HD rivalry well. While it is a huge deal in those communities it is of little significance outside of those 2 small communities. HD has a rich history and a community that loves to go watch the games but the piney woods is where the significance ends.
