  1. It is #3 ,  he was moving his arms when he left,  good sign, but was face down on field for. Awhile, before they moved him.    Another kid for WH hurt a leg,  One from Hardin got a concussion on the opening kickoff, and.a Hardin RB had a leg injury, but could return later. prayers for all of these young men.
  2. 40 to 12. Hardin.  Prayers for WH starting QB #3' don't know his name, was injured just before half time, taken off on a stretcher.

  4. Bad thing about HS, hard to go see other players while you are playing.
  5. I happen to like Chris Dumas from Hardin,  junior,  6'3. 190 lbs,  2nd team all district as Fresh,  1st team as Soph,  Can play any of the 5 positions as needed for Hardin and his AAU team.    Excited to see him progress this year.
  6. Saw a real nice video of a Yates player,  Very nice indeed.
  7. That's ex Bruin Darrell (sp) Colberts son playing QB for Lamar
  8. I think Hardin might go 1 and 9 or 0 and 10 this year, but I Know each kid will get better, the team will get better and I support them. MV is a good player, very proud of him.  He isn't the best that came out,  he is up there with Bolds, Grey, Reescano.  Bolds and Grey both went over 1000 yds 1 season, Bolds had nearly 1700 alone. I'll get that stat for you.  I look forward to seeing the future come up, I did not play for Hardin.

  10. No one said he doesn't care about kids. I am sure he does.  Since you were All state at Hardin,  Help the future players, by pumping them up, giving them pointers, go talk to them as often as you can , send a letter to the new AD for them team.  Don't get on a message board they read and be happy your 0 and 10 prediction might come true.  Let them know it is possible to turn things around.  These boys want to win and they have a few athletes and they are headed in the right direction.  Good luck to you Hornets, never give up.
  11. You should. Contact that teams President or AD and tell them, so it might be corrected.  Or a Stjfl Admin lurking here should look into it.  They should be taught to love the game and want to play next year
  12. I have more of a clue than you think. Are you a coach, or how do you know it isn't true ?
  13. Practing offense for 2 hours plus and going over defense for 30 mins or less is great coaching ?  Haynes was great at coaching the spread.  He also did a great job coaching the QB.  Hardin has not been that good off and on over the last 15 yrs that I know of,  every now and then they have a good season.  Being negative and boasting your 0 and 10 predicition is going to come true is awesome.  I just ask that people support the team. Negativity is infectious.  If you are used to losing, being kicked while you are down it is difficult to rise above it without support.  It takes people believing in you, belief in yourself, teamwork , ability and hard work.  Just get behind the kids there now. They dont want to be like the old Hornets, they want to be the Hornet of the future.
  14. No one got rid of Haynes.  He resigned. They decide not to rehire him after that.  Hardin is going to get better.  It may not be this year, but it will occur.  People should get behind this team/school/community and getting better would come quicker.  Naysayers don't help.  This team is learning a new offense, a new defense, learning how to run block and tackle better, which was not instilled over the last 4 years.  It was pass block and going over offense.  Be patient, better yet, go help and support them.  Hardin keep your heads up,  keep learning and never give up, these boys want to win and take defeat personally,  know that your community supports you.
  15. Great post. Communites are a big help in giving a team confidence. The know someone believes in them.  It is difficult to get teams to believe when they have lost for a long time,  keep being supportive.
  16. Hardin looked a lot better then last week.    Still needs work.    Keep your head up boys.

  18. Saw Seals Jones play basketball at a Ranking / Recruiting service workout this summer.  Amazing.  UT still at top of list, so is Stanford.  Heard he is interested in playing both sports if possible.
  19. On Sept 20th for Hardin......contact Coach Fortune at 936-298-2118 or PM me .
  20. Same thing that makes Tarkington the favorite,  opinions.  Depends if Hardin looks better then they did Friday, and I am hopeful they will be.  I root for my son regardless on this .
  21. Kelly lost a lot from graduation,  and will take time to rebuild.  Having an Ex Bulldog coaching just might help get some kids to transfer from other area schools in the next few years.    Good luck Kelly, keep working.
  22. The goal for all is improvement,  Both teams have a few athletes.  #22 for HD did a good job.  I thought Edmundson played well.    #21 for Hardin is quick.  Hardin has some adjustments to make on personel, No excuses, HD put it on em.  The Senior WR for Hardin is not playing this year, #5 is a junior and played mostly CB last year and a few reps at WR, and will get better. HD did a good job, keeping him away from the ball last night. The QB played WR last year.  Keep working and good luck to both teams.
  23. Congrats HD,  they looked good last night and much improved over the last few years.  Hardin looked horrible, but I believe they are better then last years team,  last year wil did not tackle , and we would have lost to HD by 50 if this was their team last year.  Hardin needs to find a way , I think Coach Fortune is taking the right steps and it will take time to get these boys in the right direction.  Keep your head up and keep working
