  4. That's an easy one
  5. Crosby was just awful! NF will give BH all they want and then some
  6. Nederland makes it to the second round where they will fall---nobody from this district goes past second round
  7. Getting Bethea back was critical---but I really would like to see the corners hit somebody hard!

  10. Broncos will be fine--Stewart and staff always get them together
  11. All I got to say about that is, man where have you been? dodging a hurricane, bringing in the harvest and watching my kid pitch
  12. For the first time in school history Lumberton will lose two in a row-- Central 35 Lumberton 20

  14. The bashing is getting old--BH should just "drop-it"----again
  15. I assume you gave them 21 points becuase of our suspect secondary. I have a good source that tells me Dayton maybe getting some injured players back this week, 1 of which is a starting safety. we hope that safety is back----he sure has been missed!
  16. And what is Teinert's completion percentage through 2 games? much more to Franklin than QB---best punter in the district, great leader and IMO was the best athlete Vidor had on the field when Dayton plyed them
  17. I do not know what UIL says about praying but the SCOTUS says you can't do it---a law however has been passed to allow a student to say whatever they wish to before the game--so we will see more prayer before football this season
  18. Vidor is very close to turning the corner but the loss of Franklin to graduation is big. If the Pirates have found a replacement the game will be close with Jags winning by 4 points--if not Jags win big.
  19. UIL says the announcer is supposed to be non-biased
  20. Is beating two WEAK teams considered standing out? If it isn't lil ol buc...Look bucky, just because East Chambers got rolled on doesn't mean U have to come on hear & prove that U are the #1 jealous Lumberton Hater on this site. I know U take a shot at Lumberton every little chance U get because it makes U fell better inside but the Raiders will make the playoffs this year and there is nothing U can do about it, capic'e? That is what everyone said last year when we beat the first three teams...that they were all weak and we would lose come time for district. I hope all of U HATERS out there underestimate this team like U did last year. If them boys fly under the radar it is even better. You will see! You're making a case for being the #1 Raider Hater along with 7mary3 & Diamond-J from Dayton...keep up the good work. BTW, how do U know that those 2 teams are weak whenever the season has just started? OK--You got me--after studying these posts I realize that the Raiders are unbeatable. After all--your offense is better than Dayton your coaching staff is better than Barbers Hill and your defense is just out of this world never mind that your are beating up on weaker teams that doesn't matter---Heck yall walk on water--SO Lumberton wins district going undefeated and marches to the State Championship--on the way back they stop in and whip up on LSU and swing thru Dallas and slap around the Cowbays--See now I am a Lumberton fan almost as rabid as you!
  21. I didn't say that they were a bad team. Just that W.B. was better Mr. A.D.D. I can't read. You still haven't explained your point as to why Dayton should not be in our poll at all. I am all ears. Since you are full of answers why don't you tell me why they should be in besides you saying "we will continue to include them after the realignment". Crosby isn't that much further, include them. All heck just put that whole district in. It would make more since. Not fair to the teams in that district that would like to be ranked to who they play. I could go on forever with this. I'm sorry you don't have the intelligence to figure it out. This is like talking to my 3yr old. You can say things till your purple in the face and they look at you like deer looking at head lights. How is it not fair to those teams? They have never been in our site area but Dayton is. Jasper's district hasn't a team that we have covered, should we stop covering them too? Also West Brook and PAM, should we stop covering them? Please answer these questions. You say Crosby isn't much farther and that is true but this site decided where the line would be drawn and that's that. We realized that we would be covering some districts partially but that was what we thought was best. It's all about our membership and our site area, not what district a team may be in. Obviously you can't see past your spite of Dayton. I know I'm gonna get dawged for this but here goes, first of all this is just more smack after listening to the smack attack Friday night, in particular what PROFESSOR Bull said and in response again to Alfrogo or Asternaro or Alfonso, whatever his name is..... First, Dayton isn't as good as they obviously think they are, they do have a few extremely talented guys but without them, not much of a team. Second, I wonder if they greased any palms to get into a district with 3 brand new teams playing their first ever varsity season, [move]talking about being handed a playoff spot[/move]. I just hope they can manage a sole district championship. The way I figure it, the Burros, whoops I mean broncos fans are still sore because Lumberton snuck a win by them, just goes to show the L-Train never gave up. Lumberton had a genuinely good team last year considering there were NO blue chip prospects on the team, it took the ENTIRE unit to win the way they did, and they really should get props considering that the first time they ever made it into the playoffs, they won at least a share of the district championship. The Raiders played as a team and the coach pushes that team concept and they will do the same this year. Will they do as well as last year? Personally I don't know, I sure hope they do, I think they will make the playoffs, but it will be higher than 4th place, more like at least 2nd place..............who knows...........we'll just have to wait and see. old dude needs to worry about lumberton---you are headed back to the cellar where you are comfortable-----in the off chance that you get to round one---dayton will spot you 30 points and still win
  22. You're right, in fact I believe a Nederland poster started a very similar thread very early last year. Vidor will be the surprise team this season.
  23. Friendswood goes down this weekend--the slide is over
  24. I think part of the problem was the Bay City offense---like watching paint dry---I have to admit I could not watch that type of offense all season
