OKAY folks---here goes I am VERY close to this situation and there was NO SECRET meeting--the meeting was openly called by a Superintendent--where the rules were bent, massaged, twisted, and manipulated to reach the desired outcome---at this point I do not care--Dayton has our road and you have yours---good luck to you---in my educated and informed opinion this was an improper decision and an abuse of power-- BUT AT THIS POINT IT DOES NOT MATTER! I hope somebody from this district brings home the prize.

Well said---LCM supporters need to be very vocal BEFORE budget time and demand more slots and get more coaches

WE love the atmosphere and for football it is not that big of a deal---the expense comes in all the other sports--travel, weeknights, security, trainers---it adds a lot of extra time and expense to a school

Texas City beat LaMarque and Dickinson this year---they won their district.........

Lumberton may turn out to be one of the "elite" teams in the future---but a one point win and a must win on the last game of the season does not make you a dynasty---repeat your success to be considered at the top---a giant step would be to knock off LaMarque

No rivalry---as of now Lumberton is a "one hit wonder"--they are having a great run and congrats to them---but there sure are a lot of seniors on that team....

Don't you get it?? Imacougar is in the first grade---that means he can't read yet so he does not understand "balanced" and he has NEVER seen Crosby beat Dayton.

Smesny from Dayton went 8-0 at the varsity level as a 15 year old soph last year-was good enough to play with the Kyle Chapman organization in Houston. Dayton was the only 22-4A team to beat Vidor twice---Smesny had both wins.He and a few others are are the top of this list.
