Walker @ the Academy is tough but a good instructor--you may want to check with your high school coach so your kid will be using the same method when he gets there

Cameron Crapo(freshman) came in early and pitched 4 innings-allowing no runs--great job!

I agree w/everything you said--but an umpire is supposed to be an impartial and non-biased individual and just like Joey Crawford this ump should be disciplined and in this case the coach should not be disciplined

In previous games our coach has thrown his hat and argued w/umps--HOWEVER--in last nights game he did nothing to warrant an ejection--the ump blew the call--the ball was clearly on the ground--the home ump was going to reverse the call but first base ump would not even allow an appeal--I understand that he has that right but in a game that means everything to Dayton the appeal should be granted--IMO THE UMPIRE SHOULD HAVE BEEN EJECTED--I believe he had something personnal going on--again Coach Craus handled himself very well

Having followed baseball for 57 years I have never seen a kid with an arm like his--as long-- as his pitch count is under 155 or so then he could realistically pitch every day--everyone else is lucky that we have held him back for the stretch run

I live here--I saw the field--I walked out there and saw it--I do not care what your rain measurements are--THE FIELD WAS NOT PLAYABLE. It is YOUR principal that will not let YOUR team play. Those are the FACTS.

I saw the field personnally on Friday and it was NOT fit to play on--I am a parent and would not want my kid playing on a muddy field--the opportunity for injury grows dramatically---As for Saturday- our coaches kept trying to tell the Vidor folks it would not be ready--offered to move to Vidor--they did not belive this until they drove over and saw for themselves--OUR PITCHERS WERE READY AND STILL ARE--GET YOUR FACTS CORRECT BEFORE RUNNING YOUR HEAD!
