  1. I AM NOT SAYING THAT THE DC'S AT WOS AND NEWTON AREN'T GREAT COACHES. BUT ANYONE COULD BE A GREAT DC WITH THE TALENT AT THOSE TWO SCHOOLS. IT'S WHEN YOU TAKE BELOW AVERAGE KIDS AND USE A SCHEME THAT HELPS THEM ACHIEVE SUCCESS. THAT TO ME MAKES A GREAT DC. THAT IS WHY WILLIAM DOTSON AT ANAHUAC GETS MY VOTE.
  2. GAME 1 - 6:30 WEDNESDAY @ JASPER GAMES 2 & 3 - 5:00 FRIDAY @ JASPER
  3. IF KOUNTZE WINS THEY WILL PLAY HEMPHILL. IF KOUNTZE LOOSES THEY WILL PLAY NACOGDOCHES CENTRAL HEIGHTS. ANAHUAC WILL PLAY THE OTHER TEAM.
  4. DOES ANYONE HAVE A FINAL ON THIS GAME YET?
  5. The Terran kid from Anahuac is only a Sophmore too. He gunned out Buna's fastest base runner at 2nd base with the game on the line. Saved the game for Anahuac. He's a pressure player.
  6. HARDINS FANS ARE THE BIGGEST I HAVE EVER SEEN IN MY LIFE AND THEIR DUGOUT ISN'T MUCH BETTER.
  7. EC MUST BEAT BUNA ON SATURDAY APRIL 21 IN ORDER TO KEEP THEIR PLAYOFF HOPES ALIVE.
  8. DOES ANYONE KNOW WHAT THE "NEWTON, WOODVILLE, CORRIGAN" DISTRICT RECORDS ARE LOOKING LIKE? IF SO, IS THERE A WEB SITE I CAN GO TO TO SEE THEIR RECORDS?
  9. ANAHUAC @ KOUNTZE ON MONDAY AT 4.
  10. Consistant is a word that a Deweyville fan would use to describe them. There were several pitches where the Deweywille catcher turned his glove over and laid it on the dirt to make the catch and the pitch was called a strike. They were not curveballs either. . I don't care if you are Great or Average but be consistant for both teams. This crew wasn't.
  11. THE UMPS IN THIS GAME WERE THE WORST I HAVE EVER SEEN IN ANY BASEBALL GAME AT ANY LEVEL. ANAHUAC WOULD HAVE STILL LOST THE GAME BUT THAT NEEDED TO BE SAID. I HAVE NEVER IN MY LIFE SEEN A STRIKE ZONE THAT WAS SO BIG FOR ONE TEAM AND SO SMALL FOR ANOTHER. THEY WERE PATHETIC.
  12. THIS IS ANAHUAC'S ROSTER : PITCHERS - 2 SENIORS & 1 SOPH CATCHER - SOPHMORE 1st - SENIOR 2nd - SOPHMORE 3rd - SOPHMORE SHORT - SENIOR AND JUNIOR LEFT - SENIOR CENTER - JUNIOR RIGHT - SOPHMORE ON THE BENCH : 3 FRESHMAN & 1 JUNIOR
  13. RITTER ON THE HILL FOR ANAHUAC PITCHED A COMPLETE GAME. HAD ABOUT 13 K'S. ANAHUAC MOVES TO 5-3 IN DISTRICT.
  14. FINAL SCORE IN 9 INNINGS. WP - CARLOS GONZALES S- DAMON RITTER KELBY SHANDY HIT A 2 RUN HR IN THE TOP OF THE 7TH WITH 2 OUTS TO TIE THE GAME AND SEND IT TO EXTRA FRAMES.
  15. ANAHUAC 5 E.C. 4
