First off I would like to say congrats to PNG and PAM. Great season for both teams. 11-2 isn't to shabby. Second I would like to say "damn" I wish Dayton had yalls problems.

I have completely overlooked this team for much of the year but they are giving up less than 6 pts a game and destroying everyone they play. Could they be the favorites in D1? Possible Manvel vs Angleton game could be nasty.

Kinda puts football in perspective and what's really important. Feel for that young man.

I personally can't wait to see this game. I'm really hoping for a PNG win but not very confident. I'm all in though and PNG fan base is second too none. I'm hoping they play the game of their year and jump up early on CS.

When you can recruit it's just really crazy the amount of talent on some of these private schools.

ThatvTapps team has more talent on it than any team PNG will play this year. Their lineup is a laundry list of D1 athletes. If Jackson wouldn't have transferred to KP to start the season they would have had a 6"6 qb that's the top pro style qb in the state throwing to 3 receivers all D1 commits (Aggies, Florida State, TCU). St Pius beat CS worse than Austin Westlake and I would say Westlake is a pretty good team so I wouldn't put much into that loss. They also hung 58 on CS which is by far the most pts they have given up this year.

GT defense has been really good this year. I think this is the most pts they have given up all year.

CP is missing probably the most important player on their team so I think Manvel should be fine and we will see another Temple Manvel region game. Side note Katy was the #1 team in the country in 2015 I believe. The 2 previous years they actually got beat by Cedar Hill a team that IMO was no more talented than Manvel. Anyway my brother played with DKing at Aragon middle school in Copperfield. So when he moved to Manvel I became a Manvel fan and actually want them to win a state title. Good luck.

A lot to prove isn't a knock. When your consistently ranked in the top 5 in the state with the talent Manvel has winning the region 1 time and no state titles leaves a lot too prove. IMO. I also know when y'all moved up a classification Katy was almost an impossible out but when DKing was there Manvel had the talent to beat Katy.. If just winning a ton of games and district championships is Manvels goal then they have nothing to prove. As far as my pick it's just an opinion. Just like when you said Crosby would kill NC I could be wrong. I'm going with the winner of the region 1 and 2 game. If I had to beat money I would say Denton Ryan but HP is playing really good.

Would be a really good district but no so good for my Broncos. Lol.

Lol. Well even give them that score and TC has 24. I think PNG would have liked their chances if you said TC would score 24. Defense must have played pretty good.

I actually think Temple might be better this year. Guess we will see next week. Good luck to PAM.

College Station has Georgetown tomorrow. CS is going to be a totally different animal than TC. I would be pulling for Georgetown to pull off the huge upset.

Looks like a PNG defense should get the MVP for this game. Congrats PNG.

Temple is my favorite to win the region again. PAM has a nice team but I would be surprised if Temple didn't win this by 14+. Anyway 3rd round again is nice.

Other districts compete with them just fine. Temple is super nasty again and wouldn't be surprised if no team from Forr Bend won the region.

Yes we are. It could be really tough for Dayton next season if the district has Ned PNG BH Vidor and possibly Crosby. It looks like Crosby might be D1 though.

Nederland is everything I love about high school football. Nederland will benifit greatly next year with the new realignment and will always be a game opponent. Also Manvel still has a lot to prove on the 5a level. They won the region 1 time and have no championships. As good as they are they are not my pick to win it all this year.

I definitely know how CS fans feel. Kinda funny how their old coach seems to be doing pretty good. Maybe when a town finds a great coach they should appreciate it. Same teams are good year end and year out for a reason.

Why? Heck he only accounted for 10 td's in a first round playoff game. I'm sure tons of kids in Texas playoff games did that last weekend. Hell he wouldn't even be a starter at a certain school.

God I hope Dayton isn't.

First time I saw that kid Riggs play. He is really good. Went up and caught everything thrown at him. Also wasn't scared to go up across the middle and make some huge catches. Kid really impressed me. Was consistently burning Crosby on deep routes. Him and that qb are a nice combo.

Funniest thing about this game is when Crosby would be like 3rd and long I would hear chants of defense defense coming from across the field. I don't think the team heard y'all. Lol. Definitely will never see another game like it in my life.

Crazy numbers
