CT vs WT Last 10 yrs at WOS and Newton (Full seasons) Shutouts: CT-30 WT- 27 Points per game: CT- 11.26 WT- 13.99 Number of opponents in each classification: CT- 5A (2), 4A (70), 3A (49), 2A (0) WT- 5A (0), 4A (11), 3A (62), 2A (63) And the bonus statistic, wins vs one another: CT- 6 WT- 0 Game, set, match... ;) ;D
Now all you have to do is make a time machine, go back in time, and have them each switch schools and coach the other's kids. Then you'll have your winner. My vote goes to Cornel Johnston.... Although W.T. Thompson is a heck of a coach too. ;D ;D

A good healthy dose of opposing views makes for good conversation don't be so sensitive just because other people are as proud of their team as you are. Roll with the punches and you might have fun ! Smack talk is a prerequisite for this board !
exactly. Smack talking is what its about mostly on this site. We as fans support our teams and type about our positives as much as possible. Regarding PNG. PNG is a TEAM and they put forth a complete TEAM effort. We don't have just one sensational player on the field that everyone talks about, like you have at Angleton with Diggs, remember, there is no " I " in "TEAM" !!! PNG has a entire team of sensational players !! It takes a team to win and not just one player. That's what it sounds like to me about Angleton, you put all your wins on the shoulders of one player. At PNG we start 22 players on O and D and they function as a well oiled machine. All the players on the sidelines can step in at anytime and fill the shoes of the starters as needed. Our coaches teach the fundamental of being a TEAM !!! No single player is put on a pedestal. These players at PNG are humble and smart.  They are the hardest working team in the state of TEXAS and it shows and is proven every game !!!
you don't know much about Angleton if you think thats all they got!!! I'm not saying they are better.... but you're just using fan cliches to make your point and they really don't hold water.
 4. Those are some SWEET pics!!! Thanks Big John

But running from the QB spot..... everyone knows it's coming and can't seem to stop him.

BUT ONLY IF KIRBYVILLE WILL LET THEM HAVE THE BALL AT LEAST TWICE DURING THE GAME..!!!
It's a shame san aug. footbal is in the state it's in.... they aren't THAT far removed from a state championship!!! Didn't they fire the HC right after that?! oh and my headline. 8.
I wouldn't jump too far off the bandwagon.  Dayton has been playing erratic all year mainly due to quite a bit of youth on the field but they have shown when they put it together they can be downright awesome.  If they can get consistent and get on a roll they can beat anyone in this region, large or small.
I'm glad I'm not the only one that thinks that. I'm eternally the optimist when it comes to the broncos... I know you're not, so I'm glad for the affirmation.

 12.
I have to say I just don't see how you justify ranking Dayton with 2 losses over Friendswood with 3 and Crosby with 2? Swap Dayton and Central! And Yates is way over ranked. Who do they play in that district?
Central should be ranked higher than that.... at this point. Like... right behind PNG... or maybe ahead, considering how strong their schedule is.

 18.
I doubt that Dayton will pull it out of the bag this week, but how sweet is it going to be when Plough goes in motion, takes the ball on a read option, and slings the ball to a wide open receiver after the defense bites on the run.  That play will be a tough one to defend.
Ploch  ;) just informing.... at least you did it phonetically.  :D oh and by the way.... CEK has to have a win and a BH loss to get in the playoffs right?
Tiger fans see our team starting to peak at the right time. We like our chances in the playoffs. Speveto WOS still has a chance to go deep into the playoffs also. Give you a hint. Silsbee has been through adversity that has brought players and coaches together in a way that being undefeated could never do. They are using the 1998 Tiger team as inspiration. They lost 3 or 4 games (early in the sason) they should have won. Most people wrote them. When the playoffs started they beat a very good WOS team and went to the state semi-finals. Go Tigers and WOS.
They went to the quarter finals (regional finals) and lost to La Marque. That was a good Silsbee team!!

Second i do not understand why the associated press has three teams with one loss each in front of PN-G it makes no sense at all. You have #3 ranked Longview (7-1), #6 ranked Dallas Highland Park (7-1) and #7 ranked Hewitt Midway (7-1) in front of PN-G and the Indians are (8-0). No matter the stats, i think PN-G should be at least ranked 5th personally. They are a great football team and they just now make the top ten?????? they need a little more love. come on AP !!!!
Makes perfect sense to me. Longview's only loss was to 5A power Lufkn @ Lufkn. They have beaten defending 5A state champs Allen and play in the toughest district in the state 4A. Wins over defending 4A state champs Sulpher Springs, Texas high and Tyler John Tyler. Highland Parks only loss was to a 7-1 5A Coppell (whos only loss was to Southlake). And they have a great history of winning in the playoffs. Midway I am not sure about?
Thank you.... good post badndn
 22.
Well seems everyone is passionate about their views, which is a good thing.  If we did'nt care what would the program be?  I agree with who said, a team should be worried if they face BH.  Minus turnovers it could be a different standing in district 19-4A.  Soon after this season maybe the passion will cary over and change happens.  Anyone know any great O-Coordinators or head coaches that might be a good draw for BH  I don't think it would be any suprise for Price, he did after all apply for the Lake Travis job last year. By the way, Lake Travis and PNG have first year coaches and both are undefeated.
Chad morris is in his 2nd year.... but who's counting? ;)
 23. Also.... we seem a heck of a lot more explosive with Payton at receiver. As the Broncos polish up and start limiting mistakes... look out.  :o
 24.
Dayton should win this game fairly handily but I wouldn't say we're gonna hang 50 on them.  Probably 42-14 or so.  Our defense seems to be letting down after we get a lead and hopefully that'll stop.
we can't seem to get off the field.... It seems, we either score in 3 or 4 plays or turn the ball over. Our D spent a lot of time on the field.
 25.

PNGfan 66 Your right, if you notice in every game, if you don’t score within the first 5 minutes of the game against PNG your toast. For some reason they always seem to be off guard or something, in those first 5 minutes. Then…the adjustments made by PNG are just remarkable.  As for the secondary of PNG, come on! They are unmatched. Forget about the offence, it’s PNG’S defense especially the secondary. This is what has happened in every game since day one. Don’t forget FS Dunbar from PNG set the tone for the rest of the season. Dunbar the FS of PNG picked apart Barbers Hill (just ask them, who is number eight?) and just ask the teams that came after. They were so darn worried about him they could not execute their game and ever since then most teams recognize that he is lurking in the back. Now teams that have tried to throw the ball avoid Dunbar. Instead they have to depend on a running game and here they meet PNG’s Defense, they are just too good. All Teams that have played PNG and have had ridiculous high scoring basket ball scores are kept to a low score when playing PNG. Just go check for yourself. This has to be credited to the defensive coach Dwayne Kroaker (not sure if the first part of the name is spelled correct) who coincidently is from Lumberton. These are the same players! Playing amazing football, you could see this in the spring training. It’s not the offense it’s the D. that sets the tone so the Offense can play. This is what’s going to happen tonight. Lumberton cannot run the ball, they might try but it’s not going to happen. As a matter of fact I think that the LTrain coaches know this. So, they will try to throw the ball to that wide receiver that they have (the real cocky one). Dunbar will shatter his dreams!! Plain and simple, as a matter of fact, watch for this match up all night. The FS Dunbar will be switched on and off to DB and matched up to Ltrain’s fastest and best receiver at all times and in the end PNG will get the W. I just hope Lumberton makes this a game and not quite and get demoralized like most teams that PNG has played in this District. PNG by two and a half touch downs and by no means Lumberton scores more than 20 no matter what.   That’s how good PNG’s Defense is… Good night and Good Luck.

wow  ::)
