  1. Friendswood.... unless we find a great team to play to fill in that 10th game on the schedule.
  2. [Hidden Content] more videos from spring practice..... Zac Lee is #3 and is the presumed starter. Pelini says everyone will compete, but Zac is the definite front runner. Kody Spano (#7 I think) of Stephenville is also ahead of Green according to most of the speculators. We'll see.... good to see cody out there!!
  3. I was impressed with haynes at the scrimmage last year when he returned that INT the length of the field.... he was gone!
  4. It's my understanding that Trey's 100 time of 10.2 at the YMBL was a hand held time, wind aided. I am not real sure on the hand held time but know for a fact it was wind aided. Still, that's very fast!! if you add on the required amount for hand timing.. he still has one of the top 2 or 3 times in the state. I can't wait to see him run next week. Bronco relays uses FAT as well.
  5. Oughta be some fast ones thrown down at this meet!!
  6. FAT = Fully automatic time (abbreviated FAT) is a form of race timing in which the clock is automatically activated by the starting device, and the finish time is either automatically recorded, or timed by analysis of a photo finish... the list is statewide. But they don't recognize hand times and any list that does automatically adds .24 seconds I believe. Either way, he's one of the fastest in the state and I'll be glad when he gets the proper recognition.
  7. From the Texas Track coaches web site..... I think Trey will finally get an FAT time at the Bronco Relays and then he'll be recognized around the state. 200 (FAT Only) Name Mark Date Location Kenton Jackson [sr, Denton Guyer] 21.15 2/21/09 Jerry B. 8. sounds good to me.... great against lefties too according to the article.
  9. Ya'll should make T-Shirts .... "One Big Gulp for Taxpayers ... One Huge Gulp for Nederland Schools!"
  10. I hope so... after all the talk about the former OC. :-\
  11. He threw a gem a throwing error from the infield for the thrid out cost them. It was a routine play that should have been made that one hurt for sure.
  12. nevermind... the answer is yes. Looking forward to seeing them run.
  13. All classlessness aside.... Dayton can't load the bases 3 times (once w/no outs), not score a run, and expect to win the game. The Broncos didn't get the timely hits and Crosby did. Smesny threw really well only allowing 4 hits... 1 was huge (3r homer). Some close pitches could have got him out of the 7th before the bomb but went the other way... that's baseball. Well pitched, exciting game. What transpired at the end was ugly!
  14. University of Houston His brother also went there on a track schol. His sister is on schol. at Nebraska Good genes!!
  15. that's the kicker to me.... way less logistical headaches.
  16. Some new video from Spring Practice. cody has a soft tissue injury in his hip (from lifting) according to what I've been able to find which is why he isn't moving around much in the videos. Looks like he's throwing it well though...
  17. I know we've had some move to dayton... (ie. P. fontenot, X. Baldwin who came before or during their freshman year).... who plays for dayton that actually still lives in liberty??
  18. soulja, i gotta question that you might wonder about too. lastyear us (lumberton) mad it to the 3rd round which is the top 16 teams in state. this year ya'll made the 4th round, which is top 8 i think? we finished ranked 25th. and so did ya'll. how? when we clearly were better than teams ranked higher.. You're right. I was aware of that and was thinking the same thing. You know, I'm just happy to have a ranking. They never show us any high respect, so we will take what little respect they give us. Maybe it was because we was not a flashy team with a D-1 Qb or anything like that, but a blue collared team that did whatever it took to win. No, that's wrong to, because that 2007 Lumberton team was the same way kind of team. I think the low ranking has a lot to do with the fact that they don't give teams with really good defenses the credit they do to teams with really good offenses.... does that make sense? I don't think it's fair ... but you know what ya'll got/had no matter what the rankings say.
  19. Who pulled ou tof your guys' schedule? right ... 9 reg. season games last year :-\
  20. He needs a little competition! That's not a knock on the kids he raced against, they just aren't as his level yet. Does he have any big meets coming up?
  21. With only 6 sec left on the clock......WOW! :o The clock is gonna stop when i pick up the 1st. Now i have a little more time to figure out what to do on 1 and goal from the three with three sec. left. The defense better be ready cause we're coming again RUNNING straight at them. The reason I'm running is because my is running back is an the o-line are all seniors and weight 250-300 lbs, plus the QB doesn't read the d well, o yeah the back has 40 carries already one more for the WIN ain't gonna hurt. WOW...all that talent and you're still behind? ;D My defense is worthless. ;D So the defense was worthless BEFORE they went to the spread??? don't tell sfa85 that!
  22. I hope dayton can pick up a 10th game this year.... anyone heard anything?
