  1. I agree with you two! Lumberton has a good core (sp?) returning (Asher, hughes, beard to name a few)..... IMO, they are the favorites until proven otherwise, especially after seeing what they did last year after losing 31? seniors from the '07 team. Not sure what Livingston has coming back but I would approach them the same way. here's to an L-Town and Dayton matchup in next year's 1st round. No way Dayton, that would mean L-town or dayton would have to come in 2nd, 3rd, or 4th.......nope, i say, here's to a Dayton and L-Town match up in the FOURTH round. ;D not exactly what I was thinking... Hey, if you guys can split another DC you'll have 1-1/3 District Championships in the past 3 years!! That'll be exciting. ;D Nah, we're just doing a district champ count down, you know, 3..2..and next year ONE! ;D : It's worked so far.
  2. I know! this is the time of year we can kid around w/out someone getting all testy. After the season starts all the seasonal posters are on and can't stay calm with a little ribbin'.

  6. 15 guys under 4.6 forties??? I have to call BS on that one---show us the clock and what do you mean by getting a D-1 letter? HAND-TIMED ;D
  7. Skipper?!?!?! Woulda never figured skipper for a quitter with the way he always talks up the Mustangs... Shame on you skip!!! :D
  8. When is the Bronco Relays? April 9th
  9. Not good at all!! I thought they were very well coached under Crawford. I hope the board can find a good replacement.
  10. Mesquite poteet.... somewhere near san antonio I believe.
  11. Because he is a 3rd year returning starter. I say it will be a new starter at the varsity level that takes over the reigns as best qb in the area. If it is Bellows it will be due to a lot of thin competition. It's ok, just come out and say it... "I think the PNG QB will be the best QB in SETX!!". ;D ;D
  12. I agree with you. Crosby should have a lot of O (QB-Merka, Jr RB Tyler and the big WR whose name I can't remember) and with a playoff win and close loss last year I think they'll be confident. Texas City returns a lot of a good run D and will be tough on the new system. Throwing is the way to beat TC and I just don't know if the aerial game will be refined enough yet against all those athletes at TC. I love that TC is on the schedule though. But.... a 1-2 predistrict record won't be indicative of how good PNG will be next year. I just think it will take some game experience to get the kids in a groove. Crosby and TC are proven teams in proven systems... no shame in a loss to them, especially early in the year. Once district starts, I think PNG will be a dangerous team due to a number of unfamiliarities to their opponents (coach, system, personnel in different spots), and a renewed excitement at the RES. Good luck PNG and prove me wrong on the 1-2 part of my comment!!
  13. Good article.... even adding the required .24 for that hand-timed 100m... I'm sure he still leads the area by a lot. Is WOS coming to the Bronco Relays??
  14. that's the way it should be.... it make the sports better and keeps kids out of trouble with grades and otherwise. I wish we had that percentage in Dayton.
  15. Also... over spring break, Cameron placed 2nd in the Nike Indoor National meet in the 60h.
  16. kinda what I thought... I always ran distance... wasn't sure.
  17. as of now we have 3....won today 9-7 i believe 3 in a row..... WINNING STREAK!! :D
  18. I think your right. do you get two steps on the line in a laned race or is that just in races with a break to the 1st lane.
  19. No sir, compliments of Chron.com photo gallery. thanks... I'll check that out.
