Even if we did become a passing team, we don't have the speed to compete with the fast corners and receivers like Central and Ozen have. Call me what you like, my fellow Vidor fans included, but I am a realist. I think we have a potential to make the playoffs and a slim possibility of a district championship down the road. But I don't see us ever in the state championship, as the playoffs are where the faster teams from around the state end up. These days that definitely seems true. For a team with Vidor's speed to advance that far I feel like they have to execute PERFECTLY... offense, defense, and special teams. kinda interesting note on special teams... IMO sulphur springs all but put the game away when they recovered the onside kick in the 3rd quarter. I see 20-4a like this... in no particular order Central Vidor Nederland Livingston or Lumberton

although... can't blame him for wanting to advance his career, better his salary etc.

kinda doubt it... don't see an all Big 12 bowl game happening. A big 12 Championship is definitely a possibility with Nebraska from the Big 12 North and Texas from the Big 12 South.

The fact that a 9th grader actually made the varsity in Dayton says a lot. I think mike dugat was the best 9th grader IMO.... He got a ton of carries though and jakari didn't so there is really no way to know. I have a feeling jakarai will be pretty special.

Hey ... that sounds like a win win situation. Most WOS fans want a different playcaller and you can bet that he's a good coach being at WOS as long as he has... so LCM wins too.

This is all well and good, but I think you guys need to concentrate on putting a decent team on the field to go along with all these new bells and whistles. None of that really matters as long as you guys keep losing. Maybe the new stadium will breed more interest and excitement to an already growing area. Huffman is definitely on the upswing in growth and that can only help athletics. In case you didn't know.... everyone on this site knows that WOS is a GREAT program, no need to run others down.

Wow. Gilbert will not lay down when things are not going his way. That is the big difference between the two. Also, not to knock Tyrik, but if his grades do not improve he will be playing junior college ball while Gilbert competes for national championships at Texas.
