  1. MAYBE YOU SHOULD STICK TO GRAPHICS YOU OBVIOUSLY DON'T KNOW SQUAT ABOUT FOOTBALL. : says the guy from the football capitol of the world. predictions are harmless... he just happens to stick his neck out there and be more demonstrative with his. No need for the negativity. He owned up to being off this week.
  2. Better watch the LB from Central #44 he is a wildman and he times the snap almost perfect... and his transmission is in high gear all night. I will say this... When #24 and #44 have a head on there will be sparks flying... both young men play hard and with their hearts. The same can be said on the other side as well with #9 and #49. I have had the pleasure of watching all 4 of these young men play against my Pirates and they have heart and desire. #44 Jacoby Hale - LB - 6' 190 lbs Sr #24 Justin Labove - DB - 5'7" 155 lbs Sr #9 Charles Thomas - S/RB - 6'2" 195 lbs Sr 3 year lettermen. Verbal commit to Texas A&M You must mean #19 David Mayfield. We don't have a #49. LB 5'10" - 200 lbs Sr. 3 Year Lettermen you sure he's only 195? He looks bigger than that w/out pads!! saw him on the track last year... :o beast!!
  3. LUMBERTON WAS A RANKED TEAM HOW ARE THEY A SURPRISE?? THEY WERE PICKED BETTER THAN DAYTON. not preseason i think they've played well enought to be a surprise. after all the seniors they lost, a lot of folks felt they wouldn't be as competitive as they are.
  4. the logic is Dayton didn't allow over 300 yds of offense to GCM and could've easily scored 70 plus (after a 25 day layoff from games). I'm not predicting a blowout myself... but I can see where people are coming from. True, we gave up a bunch ,but the key was that we bent and did not break! Dayton will beat us i have no doubt, but i am looking forward to these schools competing FINIALY!!!! it should make for a good rival and i think that you will see over the next couple of years we will be a worthy opponent! Goodluck and you can bet I will be supporting the Bronco during the playoffs!!! I along with many of the Bronco fans know what is on the way up at BH!! I hope this develops into a good rivalry. Good luck to you guys as well, I hope ya'll find a way to get in the post season.
  5. while we are playing the IF game. IF they get past round 2... I think they will go 4.

  7. some new posters from the HILL looking to stir it up a bit. I likes! ;D
  8. we'll worry about next year and beyond when it gets here. I wouldn't start counting my chickens yet.
  9. Lumberton NEEDS this one. they have to win a couple they're "not supposed to" to stay in the race.
  10. what??? they got chuck norris or something??? careful... he's watching!!
  11. he is... couldn't turn the channel when he performed at the... super bowl?? pretty impressive on the guitar too. If this district shapes up the way its looking. Central and Ned is gonna be a battle royale!!!
  12. they were a very well coached team!! frustration set in a little toward the end. but if that school can hold together they are gonna gonna be really good.
  13. i'd wanna change the subject too! been there last year.
  14. me too. 2 good running games going at it.
  15. Here you go, UIL Rule changes for 2008: [Hidden Content] We had a horse collar penalty called on us last night as well, and it was sho'nuf horse collar. you ain't lyin' i was glad he ran him down, but that flag HAD to be thrown.
  16. congrats vidor!! ;D interesting district race right now. Hope the l-town players are ok... this loss just might make you guys better.
  17. if dayton can minimize the mistakes that plagued them in the first halves of the GCM and NF games.... broncos by 21.
  18. I don't know what happened but I'll bet they did 2 things. 1. pressured karam like crazy 2. ran the ball and kept fwood offense off the field.
  19. defense did struggle especially when you give a team like north forest a short field which seemed to be the issue in the first have. North forest is a quality team and very well coached.
  20. Exactly. For confidence and for post-season hope... yep
  21. As long as the kids aren't, I think we'll be ok. I've been wrong lots of times before... but I'll be surprised if NF scores 30+. I'm looking forward to all the speed that will be on the field.
  22. Wow I thought Lumberton had a gun slinger? If they are a running team we should be able to take this one. How does the L train stack up against Central? First off...Lumberton should have more success throwing the ball in this game. Second, they are not just another running team. They are a very good running team that can and will run on U at will! Just ask anyone from outside of Lumberton that has seen these backs run the ball against their teams this year and they will tell U what they're capable of. Lumberton has big, bruising, qualtiy backs... but I don't agree that they run at will on anyone. Good luck to both of these teams. My heart says vidor... My head says Lumberton.
  23. I noticed this both of the past 2 years that dayton play PNG, and apparently its happening this year. Do you think the QB/RB mechanics break down or what. I know every team does this from time to time, but it seems like a trend, IMO.
