Getting the youngsters some experience. Our guys hated that they scored, just from watching some of the starters on the sideline. Crosby was in no way prepared for what hit them.

yes he did....against a mixture of backups, JV and 1 or 2 starters. Kinda felt bad for the crosby kids. You could tell they were brokenhearted after the game. #2 and #11 were sitting in the middle of the field with their heads down. I don't think they were expecting what they got last night.

couldn't adjust to the size and speed last year. I expect more of the same from TC. I think Dayton will be a little more prepared this time. Did I hear the TC secondary struggles a bit? This may bode well for the Broncos. I know their D-line is disruptive though.

The thing I liked most about this game is that the fumbles that crosby had were forced by our guys. They usually came after pretty long gains by the crosby offense and our guys just kept scrapping. Another good thing about this game is that one of our starting safeties isn't quite 100% and didn't have to play a down of football. I think he'll be back next week and he really supports the run. We'll get tested next week. GO BRONCOS!!!

if they just key on dugat...which I doubt they will....you'll be hearing a few other names and numbers over the PA after they score.

I realize you guys have more total yds. but I guarantee it wasn't against the kind of defenses dayton has played. I hope your guys do expect to win, they should, that's what good teams do. By the way, High School only plays 48 minutes of football. Maybe if you guys stick around for an extra 12 minutes after the game, you'll catch up

Thank you...I wasn't going to get into all that but ... Keithon Edwards(kilgore JC I believe) was the rb and we had a beast of a fullback in Wilfred Bowers(SFA). I seem to remember some timely defensive plays as I listened to that on the radio as well. Brandon Payne made a big interception. He went on to be a really good corner at New Mexico and went in to the NFL and I think made a scout team or something.

I saw that earlier this morning...If we both can get past the 2nd round, it could get very interesting.

been to the 3rd rd twice in DII and to the 3rd Rd once in DI. I won't comment on how far this team will go, but our early season exploits were not a good indication of what the Broncos are capable of doing in the postseason. just my opinion. This thread asks of the capabilities of the broncos. They are CAPABLE of making a deep run. I'm not predicting anything, but I know that the coaches and players will be as prepared as they can, just like they have been all year. Friendswood would make the playoffs in almost any other district, including this one.

If anyone from here got far enough to play them (Champ. game I believe)....I would be ecstatic. I wish someone would. I'm curious to see the separation between our area and theirs.
