  1. Nobody in Dayton views them that way. I think it will be the same type game as last year except with dayton pulling away at the end. An off. with a few bugs in it will effect WOS just as it did dayton last year.
  2. Won't be easy for either team. that's a fact. by the way...we are fairly talented as well. Dayton by 10.
  3. Ortavius Hypolite (sp?) - soph. this season I believe.
  4. Would like to beat everybody...but WOS, Central, and Friendswood would be my top 3. Friendswood is gonna be explosive.
  5. no joke ... those boys look fit!!! can't wait for week 0
  6. : Won't believe that till I see it. :
  7. The Central we played wasn't a one man show......no matter how much talk there is about D Hall....they won't be a one man show this year either.
  8. watch the highlights that Bronco1 post. He looks pretty agile and really throws his weight around! (pun intended)
  9. No Kiddin' !!!!!!! Scooter...the 1st step is admitting you have a problem. ;D ;D
  10. I know.....and I took the bait.
  11. had to vote for cody...homer pick : are we really comparing a sophomore and a senior??? especially that senior. I'd have to honestly say williams as far as the Dayton/Central game went. Cody really progressed though. We can compare their HS careers more fairly after the 2008 season.
  12. I totally agree and last year's game was a testament to that....but to ask if a sophomore QB is gonna be better????
  13. Is that a serious question??? Of course he will. That was his 5th full start as a varsity QB against a very fast defense. How could he not be better after playing the rest of the season, a couple of playoff games(one against TC who was F-A-S-T), a year of maturity (physically and mentally) and a summer full of some of the best camps in the state. And yes, any young DB's you guys had will be better too. Can't wait for this game.
  14. Should be interesting to see WOS defense in week 0. Lost a lot to graduation. Should be a good test for both teams. I know they'll have speed, but how are they in the size dept.?
  15. slaughtered by all of them. ??? I think that is a stretch. It would be tough, but we would compete with most, even considering the huge difference in depth.
  16. that write up is from The Dayton News...they do a great job of covering Hardin, HD, Dayton, Lib, BH, and a little of Huffmans sports. check out their website. I'm sure they'll do previews of the area teams soon...just keep an eye on the HS sports section [Hidden Content]
  17. Great moment...Don't spoil it with negativity.
  18. sounds like a nightmare to me!!! Dayton, Nederland, or Lumberton
  19. very good in that game last year. In our defense....a lot of bugs in our offense last year in week 0. WOS proved it the rest of the year too.
  20. Ozen plays 3 5As.....wb, pam, and seguin....don't know much about seguin Central plays 2-5As right??? One of those is Baytown Lee and the other is WB....this year, I would say that Central is right in it in with the toughest 22-4A being that Lee has so much and WB....well we know about them.
  21. Last year was very tough to watch. disorganized mess IMO. I look forward to a much better showing this year. I'm glad we get them in Dayton this year.
  22. Lumberton....good job against some tough teams!!!
