Cougar14, Crosby's offense is nowhere close to that ss offense. Not the play makers and certainly not the o-line. Let's not forget that Owens was probably calling the bulk of the plays for ss as well. Although, it seems like Riordan is doing a good job. I like your confidence though. I also won't compare this defense for Dayton to a week 16 state finalist defense. Different teams all the way around. Should be a good one.

Good to see some of those kids who never get to play get a lot of action. Smart move by the staff from Dayton resting some who weren't 100%. Go Broncos! -

Dayton should be as close to full strength offensively as they have been since the friendswood scrimmage. Seemed like we came out of tonight (new caney) healthy, thankfully. Looking forward to this week! -

TO Livingston with 2 something to go...They're going to get the win but man this is two UGLY weeks in a row. Good news is the Defense is in midseason form!
agreed on the defense! Markain had a bit of a bum ankle. Hopefully we got little healthier tonight.Sounded like lil pony looked good in his limited action as well. -
The defense has dominated this game and with all the turnovers it should be about 56-0...instead it's 21-13.
with markain at qb it probably would be... I am glad keener is getting this time.... for next year. Markain is the guy this year I think though. Think everyone needs to chill a little. -

hate to say it,... but the injury could be a blessing in disguise for him. Sounds like he was being spread really thin. it's a lot easier to get hurt when you're fatigued like that. -

Shoot they were on the field the whole game and still kept coming. I'm anxious for douglas to get back (not sure what's wrong), but just wanted to give #32 his props. -

Good win against a talented team! #6 for Elkins... Moore I think... is a stud. He struggled catching the deep ball, but you could tell he was a pretty special receiver. Great job Broncos! -

Opening kick returned for Nederand TD, Crosby's 1st offensive play went for Td, 1st qtr score I believe was 28-14 crosby. Scoring slowed down after the 4 min halftime because both teams were exhausted from chasing each other, don't have the stats for either team but Ned's Austin Krautz had 5 td's on rushing and returning kicks, Crosby had no answer for the speed of Krautz, Nederland had no answer for anyone in red, fun to watch if you like offense
Krautz? Did he have an older brother that ran track a few years back?
Bronco what did your JV do last night?
won 18-8 i believe... -

Don't worry. You only have to deal with us for two more years. Hope your program's turned around by then. By the way, don't like crow, but I will eat up some fried yard bird. Perferably Frenchy's. So have me a 10 piece with 2 peppers and a RED soda after we smash ya'll......................................please !!!!! ;)............................ and coming back on the 2nd string isn't really going toe to toe.ijs
you are a revisionist of history brother. Humble and SC were tied 14-7 at the half, SC lead. No one scored the second quarter. SC scored 14, Humble scored 7 in the third. both scored 14 in the fourth. Yall never held a wide enough lead for long enough to put in the second string team without risking a comeback. QB Sharp played the entire game. SC accounted for 600+ yards, and Humble had roughly 500+. This was a very evenly matched game outside of redzone production. Both defenses were terrible, and both offenses pretty much had their way with the defenses with the exception of humble executing inside the 20. This game would of NEVER been 70-14 like another poster suggested. SC was the better team, but not by much at all. and Humble was down right terrible last year.
Did you count how many time Screek took a knee? we took knee at 4yd line, we could have scored right before half but the QB messed up...we were on the 2yd line. and yes we did have 2nd string defense in...
You took the knee because you already up 7 points, and a turnover could mean 7 or 8 in the other direction. Not worth the risk considering at that point the game was won. (good thing you don't coach). Theirs no need to take high risk, when victory is with in grasp. And just because you say your 2nd string was in, doesn't change the fact that up until the last 4 downs.... your defense wasn't 2nd string. that in itself would of been a stupid move, and if thats how your coaches coach...get ready to get reamed.
We lead by 20 plus points, we put our 2nd string in, and they pretty staed in bcuz we knew game was won, plus..we were headed to PLAYOFFS...keep making excuses...score just may be 70-14 this year ;)
looking at the box score... Humble scored 2 touchdowns in less than 3 min on that 2nd string defense.... that put them within 7 with over 3 min to play. SC just about shot themselves in the foot putting that 2nd D in!!!
Oh its going to be a fun year. Dayton --go back and read that post... actually read it. All I was saying is that we will have two good years and then terrible till the class that is in 8th gets there. And they are undefeated ...period... Since they were tiny tiny. And to the other Dayton dad, No Dayton and BH dont play each other in TIFI. I assume because there would be parent fights... Bahahahaha ;D ;D
I did read the post and in regards to the part that i BOLDED, I envisioned you laughing (since you said it was hilarious) at junior high kids who were upset about losing. We'll agree to disagree, but my take on that part of your post still stands. I understood the rest of it and you sounded like a somewhat objective fan.
The season cant start fast enough. Also some of my people were wondering about the kids we had in the backfield for the scrimmage. Two sophomores, one is Parker Spears--- yes as in Spears Realty.... The other one was Wade Dukes younger brother Grant Duke. Neither one of them looked good in the scrimmage. The boys told me later that both of them let nerves get to them. Does anyone know what BH O-line weight is? Those are not small boys by any means. Austin Knotts (center) has got to be 6'3" and solid 260. And Bronco1, you will see very soon. Just keep claiming district as yours, like last year.
