That was our 1st playoff apperance that noone expected us to be in, we had alot of seniors that really never played Football until their junior year...we had several sophmores starting...this is how I see district standings ending SummerCreek 8) Dayton KP Crosby Humble CE King BH Porter New Caney
"SC is it" is officially in tha house!!!
"SC it is" sounds like you flipped a coin for that name, what was the other choice? "C.E. King it is" If King ever meets academic standards again all that speed will run back south to Coach Price.
Sorry Bronco, or shall i say lil Pony...we dont have not one kid from CE King on our team....They prob wanna be on there...but who dont :P
Domio isn't over there?

I'm kinda of worried now :-\ [Hidden Content]
Good to see we've got everyone's attention. " expecially the sports writers". I've yet to see any ink about Dayton this spring. Well you might get some attention in the Dayton Observer :)
It's called the Dayton News....  8)
 3.
[Hidden Content] For anyone who cares to view, here are highlights :)
some very nice, athletic plays in there. You guys have the athletes without a doubt! I've seen them on the track and they're good there too. But..... I know you can't help who's on your schedule, especially in district, but man, that schedule was soft. Alot of those plays don't go for as many yards or go at all with a good defense on the field. I'm sure your kids will rise to the occasion, especially with your QB starting for his third year as a JR., but they'll be challenged a lot more in this new 19-4A.
Have to assume this didn't happen due to weather
no field events... the rest of the meet went on with about a 20 min delay after the girls 3200m... being further west helped.

Like i said before we didn't ask nor was invited to your district but since were here you're all in trouble.
we aint in your district and be careful not to fall under the curse of bh.(one and done)
Well I would like to think i know the sport of football pretty well and i ain't saying SC will win district because i have no idea what yall have and are capable of. If someone who is claiming to "know football" would enlighten the rest of us, maybe produce a few highlight reels then maybe i could see what this person is bragging about. Until then i am forced to doubt them.
The highlight reel will be coming out this fall. ;)
Are you saying there are no highlights from last season?
[Hidden Content] here are a few.... QB is pretty good i hear.

Dude is a flat out genius!!
I see him as the New AD in Deweyville IMO!
that guy wears a lot of hats for not much money (not a knock on Deweyville, btw). he would be a good AD there IMO. A first rate teacher as well!!!
 9. Matt Oubre (275lb) and ________ Moreno (123?) from Dayton are going as well. Good luck to all these kids.
 10.
Working on it. Will have one by the end of the day.
thanks. just curious
 11. This is a good move for any girl who hopes to move on and run in college. This'll help 3a and under indirectly, by making those longer races available to help them gain exposure.
 12. vp32.... you got a list of attending schools?
 13.
yeah its not even close. 1. Turner Stadium (Humble ISD) ...... ...... ....... ....... 2. BH 3. Crosby 4. Dayton
Move Dayton ahead of crosby and I think you got it. Dayton behind bh due to parking and not being able to go crazy on the press box. Ahead of crosby cuz of crosby's lack of seating for either side. Good seating trumps parking, IMO.
 14. congrats to Hardin. They ran the ball and played D at LaPorte. I think that'll suit Hardin if he accepts. Nice family as well.
 15. i'm surprised Dayton still remembers what a baseball field looks like....  :D they've been on the turf so much with all the rain. I don't care what anyone says, that field was a great investment.
Ahh the whistlers lol. Yes that was our fight song. When our band isn't able to show for some reason or another we have two brothers that have perfected whistling the fight song of Vidor. They've been doing it for a couple of years now. Its kind of like a tradition. Funny thing they haven't had a child play any sports at all and yet they still are avid fans. That is what i call a true fan.
they were definitely into it.... some passionate fans there for both sides.

 19.
Just a little perspective on AR high school ball.  a 5A team in AR is probably equivilent to a 3A team here.  7A is thier biggest level,  and the majority of those schools are in the NW Arkansas area,  and most of those teams play each other at least a couple of times in district before meeting again in the playoffs.  Bentonville , Rodgers, Springdale, Fayetteville and Fort Smith are all within about 50 miles of each other and make up the majority of the teams, with the rest around Little Rock.  Bentonville and Rodgers are similar to Ned and PNG, right across the highway from each other.  Bentonville has one three state championships in the last few years.  The point being, I don't think this would fly in TX.  The football is much more competitive here.
that's where wal-mart headquarters is right? I think they've got quite the setup over there..... just a fun fact. [img][Hidden Content]]
 20. +1
Honestly i think a Baytown to Humble district would be a ton of fun but that's just me. KP, Crosby, Dayton, (Humble/Atascocita 5a?), Lee, BH... now that would be a heck of a district. the 4 teams out of that would be battle tested.
21.
Me too . Dayton's turf is still in good shape also!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :o
Dayton has had some problems with there turf as well. I believe all of the numbering on the field was replaced recently. Not sure why it needed to be done but, i think it was warranty work.
I think Dayton's turf has had work done more than once due to the wear issue. I could be mistaken here.
 22.
King was uncompetitive and classless the last few years under Wilson. He might've won a couple of state championships but I was not impressed with him at King.  King's better days are definitely behind them but he was no better than Malkowski and nowhere near as successful as Starnes.
he won that state championship with tons of talent overall and 2 superstars win Jacquizz Rodgers (Heismann candidate) and his brother James, who was a stud as Oregon state as well. A lot of coaches would've done the same..... or so I hear. His record preceding and following the Rodgers Era kinda proves that.
That's Dayton's way of showing respect for their opponent. They "let them have the field". ;) Maybe someone should notify the band and ask them not to play the school song then.
if people other than the bh coaches and players started coming on the field, then I'd get my team off too. too many things can happen in that situation. I stayed til the end but didn't watch the post game stuff..... did fans and parents come on the field?

There are more, but that's a good start. Coach Hadnot is doing a great job, but I'd rather not see someone thrown under the bus, by an overgeneralized statement.
Didn't mean anything negative, take it for what it's worth. Boys are playing great basketball and that's all that matters.
agreed.
