crosby is in the spread and mostly runs.....
dont worry talent level will be back up bunch of young kids on this team and I cant wait to see chambers at qb next year. Not looking for much more than one playoff win if where lucky but maybe these coaches can learn something from this year and come out strong next year.
Talent level is there right now.  Schemes are different.
sorry duder but look at the kids we had last year and we are not even close talent wise. 3 kids from last years team are playing d1 not to mention bladwin duff and our offensive lineman that all left I see possibly one kid on this team that could play even d2 ball
i think we're a little better than that.... fowler(d1 offer i believe), st. andre, oubre, kevin barton could all move on, just off the top of my head. D2 at least.
Gee caprock, that 28-0 loss to Crosby in 2008 too painful to remember? ;D
caprock is a crosby fan bro.... :D look at the bolded part below.

Broncos need to get that Ike swagger going this week.Crosby hasn't proven they can blow out a good team yet.I like our chances to win out.Hancock scouting Ozen/Liv last night says he's confident right bout now ;) :D ;) ;)
What good team has Dayton blown out? 3-5 Eisenhower? I think this is an evenly matched game. Both teams are 5-3. Both teams have quality wins (PNG & Elkins). Both teams have had slip-ups. Dayton seems to be not as explosive on offense as they have been in quite a few years but they are very potent. The Bronco defense has been a little suspect as well. Although the Broncos aren't used to going through a funk and their psyche is a little gloomy, Dayton is still a very dangerous team. They had a tough non-district schedule and almost beat a very good Angleton team. Crosby has been very explosive on offense all year. The Coogs put 425 yards on Montgomery in the first game with two 14 year old sophomores starting for the first time in the backfield, but turned the ball over 5 times. Youngsters are mistake-prone. They lead the district in offense. Crosby's defense has gone from gash-prone to at least respectable. The non-district schedule was brutal. Montgomery, PN-G, and Dawson had all advanced at least three-deep in the playoffs last year.  I can't think of any team in the area that played a non-district schedule where all opponents had accomplished that. The Crosby defense is very young as well. 9 out of the 14 guys that rotate in on defense are juniors and sophomores. The LBs are all young.  I don't see how one team is just clearly the favorite. Should be a good one. The last time this game was decided by 10 or less was 1999. Crosby 31-21. Next closest game was 2003. Dayton 35-20. A close contest would probably promote some mutual respect between the teams and the fans. Dayton has just always assumed it will be a blowout and expected it with the transfer of #7 in 2009. Crosby has been on the wrong of most of these games, but their only win was the famous shutout. I'm thinking this game will be decided within about 12 points and it may end up being a 1-2 point margin.
I'll concede to that, but I will not concede that it will be either Livingston or Vidor to be the team to do it this year! When was the last time either Livingston or Vidor made it out of the first round? So do you think it's a coincidence that only one team in 20+ years has made it to the big dance in the upper classifications running this offense?
Livingston made it to the third round in 2007 before loosing big to Dayton in large part because they tried to run too much from the spread
no doubt.... they were horrible after the first quarter or so.. Harris, as good as he was, was just throwing stuff up that night.
 9. Good to see Fowler running well again! He made some nice plays last night! The team overall looked healthier than they have been since BH. I'm optimistic that it's gonna come together in the next couple of weeks.

Maybe the coaches are fairly bright and are using him as little as possible and keeping him healthy. They  know what he can do. Just a theory.
If your theory is correct, he shouldn't even be out there. In my opinion. First play from scrimmage he runs for 60 yards, so if he's dinged up it didn't show. Still say you got to establish some sort of running game to have consistent drives.
I understand what you're saying... I'm not saying he was dinged up last night. I just think there will come a time  when they need him to be a work horse, but last night wasn't it. So why risk him running the ball 25 times? Either way, he's a good back that will keep some drives alive.
 11. Crosby should be the favorite here. Intense rivalry here and I'm sure we'll see both teams fired up for this one. Can't wait.

Chambers finished the game at QB.

Yeah stiff as a board dont know but doubt he can play next week chambers looked good though
that stinks. hope it's minor for his and the team's sake. Bronco defense looked better tonight. Glad to see that. Next week oughta be a good one in Crosby. I'll be interested to see what we do with Markain likely at QB.

A crazy-haired band kids yells fans are you ready and they respond with oh yeah! after a few of those the drum line gets after it for a little bit, then they do cheerleaders are you ready...., steppers(drill team), band, etc. during playoff time it's pretty good. Dayton fans are a little more subdued otherwise.
Lol that's pretty cleaver. I don't remember that from 09.
I think it started last year... not sure when thought ... i remember it best during the livingston playoff game.

It was a run around the corner (on our side) in the second half when the broncs were heading toward the north (or whatever our right side was) endzone. It reminded me of some plays two years ago. The dback fought off his block and made a nice play. It seems he's progressing to me. I still think the broncos are dangerous if we get healthy.
He's not hardly a 100% but is showing good signs of improvement every game . I think playing on defense with some contact will build his confedence and y eah I did see that break out run and not to mention when he runs up the middle he makes good gains on every touch.
[IMG][Hidden Content];   [IMG][Hidden Content]]     This one?
Si!  your avatar actually reminded me of it. I think he needs to break one for a confidence builder. I think he'd be different after that.
 20. Juan Carranco - Dayton.... 52 yd long. Has missed a couple this year, but IMO is still the best.
