2.
The mile?? Why?? Let me know the next time a football player runs 1760 yards in a game at once. That'll be one heckava highlight.
mental toughness. I'll take a kid that can concentrate on going hard for 5 min. plus to play a sport where most plays take less than 5 sec.
 3.
Justin it was Dayton also in 2007 that took out your dist.foe Waller in the qtr.finals then took care of those Cubbies in 2008 when Green/Dugat went on a romp. Then in 2009 ya'll came back after being down all game to squeak out a win in the last 4 min.and went on to lose to Tivy the team we beat in 2008.Therefore I see it advantage=Dayton in a rematch since we also waxed KWP.Garrett Gilbert & Tyr Rollinson (2 of the top qb's in 4a )IS the only reason we're w/o a state title.Don't forget Waller again as we stomped a mudhole in the team that beat ya :D
they beat tivy and lost to Aledo in the finals....  ;)
 4.
That's a good way to work out......but couldn't you get the same results running the bleachers??   ???
Running bleachers forces everyone into a set stride length..... That and the soft surface for impact and football specific purposes are good reasons to run hills rather than bleachers.
 5.
No worries the Broncos squeeked by a 4th place team by 4 points  ;D (Can't remember if Livingstion was in 4th or not) Yeah they are world beaters LOL!
yes and you guys couldn't close the deal against a team that was barely above .500.  ;D
 6.
dude still has some serious speed
false started and DQ'd in the 100 semis.... that sucks. I think he had a legit shot to qualify for the world championships. I hope it'll all come together for the Olympics next year.

Oh yeah, all he ever did was win, win, win. He be a great addition for TCU!
Hank is a good player & great kid, BUT you are flying over a boatload of EC talent that came through the EC halls before him. Some names that come to mind... Hmmmm - Floyd George, Glen Gaspard, Alan & Glen Koch, Glen Kizer, Tramain Thomas, Vance McDonald & Dad (Bret), Mack George. Alan Koch & Glen Gaspard went on to play pro football. You may be a "Buc Fan" but definitely NOT a "Buc Historian", maybe you are new @ the Buc thing ;) ;) ;)
one of. carry on.
So you would say that EVERYONE who plays football in the EC program would be one of the toughest.
Could be.... Would you say that only the players that make the NFL are the toughest? Point is.... plenty of tough kids play football that don't have the talent to go far. Just because they don't go to college or the NFL doesn't make them less tough.

 10.
Well since you asked  ;D BH I believe has 5 Athletic state Trophies (2 football and 3 Girls Basketball)and a crap load of non athletic State Championships (These are the smart trophies Dayton wouldn't understand).
I hate that I'm posting on this thread, but Dayton has several of these as well. I'm just throwing that out there for folks that believe the good natured bull on this thread. ;)

 16.

What did he do, run off?  Which tournament was it?
The ref was about to return the favor ( he picked the wrong ref) but the ref held back right before he was about to tear his azz up ;D They got the player out of  the gym b4 secruity came. Sadly, it was a Houston Hoops tourney  (Cy- Fair area) and usually they are trouble-free. The ref filed charges. They have to locate the kid now because nobody was giving up info on the kid. Sad
that's the worst part to me... people connected with the kid wanting him to avoid the consequences of his actions. :-\
 17.
Way to go Mustangs, maybe this will help to pass the bond tomorrow.
how those kids don't have a decent track already is a mystery to me. Congrats on another great season. Those relay times are SICK!

 19.
I agree about the conditions- Sezar ran in horrible conditions, very cold and windy!! But going by the next best times is the only way to name the next person after the top 2.
Actually, the finals were ran in beautiful conditions. Low-mid 70's and not a cloud in the sky. Prelims were nasty though. He was impressive and certainly deserves his trip. Congrats to him.
 20.
I like the new rule as well, but what some people forget is that you truly can't look at each time compared to each region because of wind, temperature, and any other factors that affect races.  Some people could have been running into the wind and some with.  Just think not to long ago they only took 2 from each district to regionals.  UIL is definitely making some improvements.  Last year coaches were told that all classifications were more than likely going to have an AREA meet after district like the 1A classification, but haven't heard anything recently.
Good point on the conditions. There's no perfect way, but sending one extra helps a little with regions that are loaded in different events. How many do the smaller classes send to area.
 21. I love the new rule! Might as well fill up those 9 lanes.
 22. 23.
You are a trouble maker, nothing else. I have lived in Orange my entire life, graduate of WO-S and supporter for over 30 years. There is no split or problem with the choice made to hire Coach T. There is no internal problems in the community, school or coaching staff. Why would you make a totally un-true statement with absolutely no proof or facts. Sounds like you are a WO-S hater trying to bring down a program because of spite. Maybe you need to start writing for the National Enquire since you have such a huge imagination.
The thread was started before they hired Coach T. From the outside looking in as far as this messageboard goes.... there was some division. I think and hope all is well now though.
 24.

You had to go there. I didn't bring your kid up. You did. I don't know him or you. You started the thread remember. He's probably a good ball player or he wouldn't have been on the list. I don't have a problem with you or your kid and this is the last time I'll talk about it because I don't want to hurt your feelings. I will be at the game Friday if you want to look me up though. I'll be wearing a blue and white T-Shirt that says Barbers Hill and I'll have a blue and white cap on with BH on the front. I'm 6' 4" and I weigh 250 lbs. I look forward to seeing you. ;D Unlike yours. It's my story and I'm sticking to it. ;D ;D
What does the BH stand for on the front of your cap???
This site might as well start scheduling WWE events.  What the he__ is this all about?  Let's keep this site above all the personal vendettas - let these guys use AT&T to schedule their slug-outs.
agreed... ridiculous  :-\
