Dayton's last ten years crushes what has happened at PN-G (and I am a PN-G grad). By the way... I still think 20-4A is celebrating the day Dayton was moved out of that district. After obliterating every single team in that district for two years (except for one hiccup against Lumberton) (no other team has come close to the points allowed vs points scored) the people in the Triangle where shouting, FINALLY!  One of our own teams can win district again.
Dayton can't even win their own district.  They lost to a team that PNG put a beat down on.(and lost bad).   If this thing is not 2-2, it will be in 20 4A's favor.  No way 19-4A takes more than 2.
I will match up Dayton's last ten years against any body in the Triangle...
I like that!  You talk a good game since Dayton have had 2 really great years with the state final appearance.  But I seem to remember Dayton getting smacked around by 20-4a at one point.  I remember Ozen smacking them around in the playoffs one year this decade...
that was '05.... I believe the score was 13-12... not exactly a smacking around.  ;) that was a pretty physical game. That's what I like about 20-4A is the physical style is a good prep for the playoffs.
I couldn't believe what I was reading during the PNG/Central game friday!!!!
 7.
In '07, you did shut us out 20-0.  Fact of the matter was that we had a down year.  You know, missing the playoffs, lossing to Ozen...
You guys were a mess that year... but honestly still played us tough. We just match up well I think.
 8.
::) ::)  What about that  'hiccup' at Babe in '06? Wouldnt call that 'dominating', if memory serves me correctly...
that was a great one. Jags really cranked it up in the 4th quarter and capitalized on some bronco TO's. Jags and Broncos is a tough matchup.
Yeah But lumberton Ran into Crosby =P Fun Fact... just thinking back... Crosby Lost two years in a row to Dayton in first round... (both Years Dayton went deep in playoffs) So without Dayton in the picture Crosby is 1-1 In Bidistricts VS the current 20-4a Lost to Central in 05-06 and Beat Lumberton Last year... Dayton just wins playoff games...
Yeah yall over there in 20-4A keep saying 19-4A is the weaker district.Like I asked in another thread who went to the finals last year and who went to the semi finals the year before? was it A.20-4A or was it B.19-4A ???      ANSWER: 19-4A :o
Dayton ::) This has been the last couple of years, you start talking about past, and 19-4A is nothing. You can only hang your hat on two good years at Dayton WOW ::) Your the one bringing up the past and I'll put our district teams history versus 19-4A any day. Get ready for the beat down your going to get ;D
I'll bite....  :) much more than 2 good years at dayton! 14 years in the playoffs.... and counting. How about PNG's History against Dayton? '98 - 45-24 - broncos '06 - 33-2  - broncos '07 - 40-7  - broncos Can't see the historical forum for more..... but since we're just stirring the pot, I suppose that'll do.  ;D ;D
Excuse me, I assume this is nothing but a flame post trying to get a rise. Easy path with PNG, Angleton, Yates , El Campo, Brenham, etc. And to the poster who replies it MIGHT be a little over simplification, you are the master of understatement. I am amazed no one else has jumped this clown. Hope all the Dayton fans and players are thinking like that!!
nah... we were just ignoring the Crosby poster.... He's just setting up for some excuse making.
You are definitely Silly365... I don't think either team wins this game "rather easily".  ::) I think dayton would fare just fine in 20-4A. Our coaches do a GREAT job of preparing the kids, no matter who they're playing.

 15. I see it as Angleton was likely toying with the passing game a bit to prep for the playoffs and went away from their bread and butter.
Is that why Xavier Frank showed up and got immediate playing time at DHS?  The past shows that "bucket" will probably start if he goes to Dayton!.. just sayin
whoever bucket is.... If he's as good as X..... you're right... he would play. Xavier came here and worked his tail off and as far as I know, continues to do so.

 22.
You know what, Dayton had an awesome football team for those 2 years.  BUT, I'm going to have to disqualify them from this post.  The topic SPECIFICALLY says best team to come out of 20-4A.  Well, at the time that Dayton was in the "golden triangle" district, the district was 22-4A, not 20-4A.  Therefore, Dayton, you had an amazing team those 2 years, BUT you were never in 20-4A. Sorry about the technicality.
no big deal.  ;) they had to add 2 because the district was that much better with dayton in there.  :D
