[/quote] The schedule is not and never has been the problem in reality.  Some feel the need to find a way to discredit a situation that they resent or envy, particularly if it is exceeding expectations. If you can't attack the won-loss record, the schedule is the next logical step.  If for some reason that fails, then, even though it is quite a bit less credible, you will hear things like " the refs give them preferential treatment", or "their old coach is in the UIL"  yadda, yadda, yadda.  Bottom line is, if you are winning, you will always face some detractors and nothing can be done about that. Well, so much for my prediction of Buna destroying Hardin. Congratulations Hardin Hornets - 46 - 38 win!

Hardin fixing to win.  They are up by 6 (made the free throw) with 18 seconds to go.  Buna at the line for 2 free throws.

Hardin opens up a 5 point lead with an "and 1".  38 seconds to go.

First free throw missed.  Time out with 1:04 left in the game. Hardin 39 - 38 and they've got the ball.

Hardin finally makes a 3 and takes the lead... 39 - 38. Buna at the free throw line with a 1 and 1.

With 2 minutes or so to go.  Buna is holding on to a slim 2 point lead.  38 - 36. Lot of steals and a lot of missed shots.

Getting wild.  Buna up 36 - 32 with Buna shooting 2 free throws. They miss 1 of 2.  37-32 with over 6 minutes to go.

Hardin is really stepping up the defense, getting a steal and tying it up at 32. Buna in turn scored to make it 34 - 32 Buna.... early in the 4th.

Hardin hits a couple of shots.  Score is 32 - 30 late in the 3rd.

Buna up 27 - 24. Hardin hits a quick shot and makes it 27 - 26. Buna steals it and hits a 3!  30 - 26 Buna. Aggie informs us that Buna is on a 12-2 run. Cleveland makes a lay up.  32 - 26 Buna.

Buna hits a 3 to make it 24 - 23. If I were the Hardin coach, I would bench any player trying to make a 3.  They have been missing them left and right.

Hardin up 24 - 20 with 5 minutes to go.

Dumas has had his 3rd offensive charging call. 22 - 18 Hardin early in the 3rd quarter.

At the end of the 1st half. Score Hardin 16 - Buna 16.
