Give credit where credit is due.  WOS was at the top of their game for the 2nd half with HJ and they won.  They deserved to celebrate, just as HJ did when they beat Silsbee last night, only because they were at the top of their game! I think district 21-3A will be well represented in the upcoming regional playoffs!  After all, its become a tradition, hasn't it?

[/quote]Pershon moves well, but he could use a little more quickness.  Of course, he's already more agile was than Ricossa was at his age, so there is much to look forward to.  I'd like to see him work on agility over the off-season and see the same kind of improvement that I've witnessed from Phillip.

Hawks by 2! Gus gets called for goal-tending (and asks SETXSports for a copy of the footage so he can brag to his friends!) and Sutherland is at the receiving end of an Alley Oop Dunk!  This didn't happen against WOS last week (even though I predicted it) which is why they lost.  Things will be different tomorrow!  ;) Go Hawks!

One thing that should worry Coach Sutherland.  HJ typically plays awful when they are from school. Today was a Flex day for HJ, so many of their players didn't have school today.  Typically, this means they will come out flat.  I don't think WOS is the team they can afford to start flat with. But I will stick to my Gus goal-tending call and Grayson converting an alley-oop dunk!  Maybe that will pick them up!  ;)

Darryl Dawkins, the Original "Chocolate Thunder", of the 76'ers was the first to do it, wasn't he?  I don't remember where he went to high school, but I believe he skipped college.  Darryl would name his dunks, if I recall correctly. 

Hawks will roll.  68 - 60.  Gus will get called for Goal Tending and will shake the referees hand!!!!  Oh, and Sutherland will be on the receiving end of an Alley Oop Dunk!
