  1. From last season when Jamie McLennan and Roberto Luongo were playing for the Florida Panthers: Jamie was(I don't think that he is anymore) a part owner of the Wildcatters. During the NHL lockout in 04-05, he came to the 'Catters training camp as a goalie coach/assistant coach. We asked him if he would put his gear on and show us how good he was during one of the the practices, and he did. He was even autographed our Panthers gear(they were the Wildcatters' affiliate at the time).
  2. Shootouts are a very exciting part of hockey. I just wish that the NHL would go to 5 shooters like the ECHL, instead of 3.
  3. Pros and Cons.... Pros: • The Wildcatters made a FANTASTIC comeback to tie the game, and Marco Rosa's shorthanded goal was unbelievable. • With the one point that was picked up by going into a shootout, the Wildcatters are now tied for 1st place with Gwinnett. • Matt Yeats made some great saves to keep the Ice Dogs to only 3 goals in regulation. Cons: • Where were our guys the first 50 minutes of the game? They didn't start to really play until the 3rd period was half over. • C'mon.....losing to the Ice Dogs? If you look at their record and compare it to that of the 'Catters, you would think that it would be an easy win for us. But our guys get way too confident with the "little" teams such as Pensacola, Columbia, and Long Beach. They only want to step it up against "big" teams such as Florida and Gwinnett. Good luck tonight, 'Catters!
  4. I watched a game in Austin last year where they had blue ice. Here is a small picture:
  5. [Hidden Content] Wow!
  6. Taz said that he will be wearing his Longhorn hockey jersey. I don't have any burnt orange hockey jerseys, so I will stick with either Wildcatters or Rivermen or whatever.... Hook 'em! ;D

  8. You can still get the B2 feed for free: [Hidden Content] Glad I have Center Ice, though.
  9. The Wildcatters defeated the Gladiators 5-4 this morning/afternoon! We are now 1 point out of 1st place!!! [Hidden Content] Rosa and Baker are back from the AHL, so that helped. And both of the birthday boys(Rosa and Proulx turned 25 today) scored goals.
  10. Based off of the memory game "Concentration", this game is where you flip the tiles to find the matching players. Let me know if there are any bugs in the programming. [Hidden Content] The time automatically starts when you load the page, but if you want to start again, then just click the button. Be looking for more games in the near future.

  14. [Hidden Content] Though we lost, I'm still very happy that "Elmo" score TWO goals! He loved the little celebration that we put on the Wildcatters' board.
  15. The guys played better than the previous two nights, especially in the 3rd period. Every team has a slump at some point during the season.
  16. Tough game, but you can't win them all. Daniel was the Sparre last night, scoring the only goal.
  17. Now I've seen that happen in senior league hockey, but not in the NHL! How embarrassing. :-[
  18. The Aeros sent us one of their goalies, Tony Quesada.
  19. Congrats to MC on making the All Stars! ;D
