I Not looking ahead. As Hagar pointed out, HH is the only game that matters now. -

IF VIdor gets by HH, (not an easy task in my mind), and Lumberton & LCM win out, then LCM, Lumb., Vidor would each have one district loss, creating a 3 way tie for first. ( Lumb. winning out means Raiders beats Pirates). IMO LCM has the easier schedule the next two weeks, while Vidor has the toughest. I -

Well, at least she didn't mention the word that starts with the 10th letter of the alphabet to go along with it......nope I'm not superstitious 😃 -

Mentioned the ranking to my wife, she responded, "Hope it's not like being on the cover of Sports Illustrated" -

Yeah, the play was down near the west end zone. Limped back to huddle but stayed in. I was really expecting someone to come in for him. Showed good toughness. Hopefully he’ll be at full speed Friday -

#21 Rodgers is certainly fast. Have heard his name called prior to Liv. game but not as much as you’d think after what he showed Friday night. -

7 was limping back to the huddle after a couple of plays, but didn’t see him come out til 4th quarter when Coach started wholesale substitutions. -

Wasn't Rodgers, (#21), Gall's (#4) injury replacement? -

You are right about HH injury situation improving. Team will be facing a a more formidable challenge now. -
You’re right about bad snaps. Lions had several plus off the mark pitches, fumbles, int. Their offense definitely had issues. Your prediction seems about right unless they really improve in a weeks time.

Do you think vidor is going win district this year

and also.... the "don't eat the cheese" thread.... -
Pirate fans should root for LCM this week for sure

Coach needs to remind the team of the meaning of "trap game"..........and more importantly how to avoid falling into it.

No doubt it will take a great effort to keep rolling. Must stay focused and like last week, hold onto to the ball. -
Was thinking the same thing.

Vidor has 3 tough games remaining, Livingston, HH and Lumberton. Still a lot to shake out over the next 3 weeks, shouldn't surprise anyone to see a shared DC this year. -
Only one that I know of and only a couple of houses or so in it so far. Harvey and Imelda caused a lot of the population drop.

Seems like I saw preliminary 2020 general census numbers around 1000 residents less than 2010. I know city numbers don't necessarily relate to high school enrollment but still........

Vidor 29 Little Cypress Mauriceville 12/Final

I’m not sure, but if not, he should. -
Remember playing against Steve in '65. He was a load to tackle.

I know of six that are still around. Sparky Robinson was the most decorated of them as an All-State player and is still with us..also know of 8 that have passed on. Lost track of the other 12.

Played 3 Beaumont schools, French, Forest Park and Kelly, but didn't play PNG or Nederland. Remember Vidor was 3A then and played LIttle Cypress, Jasper, Channelview Liberty, West Orange, Bridge City and Silsbee. Hung 50 on LIttle Cypress and 56 on Jasper, but French, 14-6, and Forest Park, 14-7, were tough games.

Gary Cole was the other RB (and one of only 4 underclassmen on the '64 team). Jerry Wheeler would sometimes line up as a running back as well.
