LSU is not playing good AT ALL recently. BUT when you look back to their championship season a few years ago, they had an almost identical record at this point in the season, so hopefully things will get better.

Doubt Phil or Tiger... Kaymer is a good possibility. Dustin Johnson seems to always find a way to get close in Majors, except for Pebble last year (absolutely terrible). So I'm going with him. Can't count out Mcdowell, Westwood, or Bubba Watson!

Tonight at the Lamar Soccer Complex: Girls game at 5:30 Guys game immediately after at 7:30 Got this info from Coach Wedel this morning. Go Pirates!

While I have not seen Lumberton play this year, I know Coach L will have them ready to play. Vidor's second half of district has been pretty impressive. The switch in the defense, IMO has made the difference. Barton is a ball hawk, and is very tough to get past. Gio on the left side is very quick and has maybe been Vidor's MVP of the second half of the season. Offense has had a little trouble scoring, but the chances have been there. I say Vidor 2-1. Looking for a good entertaining game. Also the field at Lamar is absolutely amazing. The surface is perfect.

We went out on an airboat into the marshes off of 105 between Vidor and Bridge City. Caught 7 reds, 1 drum, 1 flounder and 1 gar. 5 of the reds were keepers, and the drum and flounder kept. Caught them all on tiny mullet we caught in the cast net off in a finger in the marsh. One of the keeper reds was right at 27 inches. Pretty good day!

Vidor vs LCM for 3rd place PNG vs Nederland

Vidor won 3-0

Vidor lost 2-0. LCM controlled the first 5 minutes, but Vidor maintained most of the possession for the rest of the game. LCM had maybe 3-4 shots, but made 2 of them. Vidor had about 5-10 from close range and couldn't finish.

Saturday's game will be at Kelly HS at 3 pm.

It's been a great experience being able to help coach this year at Kelly. I've learned so much from shark that's definitely going to help in the rest of my career. Hopefully we continue the streak this Saturday!

It was 0-0 at the end of the game. I left after that, and heard in the 2nd OT Vidor scored 3 goals pretty quick.

I've got a friend that plays for Goldthwaite. They won the state title last year and hopefully they make it back to back this year!
