My opinion of why Nederland won and Vidor didn't... Nederland threw OVER the mud which kept them from having to deal with it... Vidor had to try and run THROUGH it and it didn't work as well as it needed to... Livingston this week, let's get it done and get ready for the playoffs... Go Pirates!

Except for the long TD run, our defense played amazing! Swarming to the ball all night! Heard you could see all the way to the bone on Dozhier's cut... But yes Jace stepped in and held his own! Big game next week!

Just left the hospital about an hour ago. He is very sedated and still in terrible pain. Terrible to watch and yet he just wanted to ask me if we really won (guess maybe he thought his parents were not telling the truth). I dont know if he will remember any of this in the morning. They had just finished the x-rays when I left. He elbow is messed up. Hopefully just dislocated and the Ortho can get it reset when he gets there without surgery and there is no major ligament (etc) damage. However, it is way too early to tell. He is a big part of the team. And just a really good kid as well. Thanks for asking. Hope it's nothing too serious... Can't find a more humble and respectful guy out there than Matt... Keep us updated!

Nederland is still gunna be good, even without Bledsoe... But not AS good

From about 8 minutes left in the 4th quarter, I didn't sit down the rest of the game...

Amazing crowd support... Hopefully that will continue...

BTW, Central showed alot of class... Not one time during the game was there any taunting or bad sportsmanship... I was VERY impressed with that...

Nothing left to say about this game... Best game I've ever seen Anymore doubters from the weak non-district schedule? Still think he got in on the 2 point conversion at the end... By the time the ref's moved everyone off the pile the ball had already been moved back... But oh well, nothing you can do about it... Good luck to Central Proud of my pirates... Couldn't have played any better... Next week it's Lumberton, let's get it done...
