There is going to be 30 scholarship players, and he is taking 85 to games... So do the math on how many walk-ons will be on the team...

Not taking anything away from him, played soccer against him... As a former kicker I can tell you this... Game situation and practice are 2 MAJORLY DIFFERENT things... I hit 50's in practice everyday, but when you have everyone else out there and have people coming after you, makes things alot harder... But it's good to hear he's doing good so far... I know you can't be taking anything away from him. A highschool kid kicking above 50 yrds at any point is a major accomplishment i think. I'm sure he's going off to college and i think with a little help from the coaching staff's there, his technique can get only better. Anytime a high school kid can kick 50+ whether it be in practice or a game is an accomplishment, which is why I'm not doubting him or his abilities at all... What he needs to do (something I didn't ever get to, kinda beating myself as to why) is to go to a kicking camp at a university... Get to show off your abilities and learn from the best...

Exactly. If their attitudes were right, we're talking a VERY GOOD team here... But alot of the time they let their attitudes and mouths get them in trouble...

That game counted as an away game for us, so literally we're 4-0 (Kelly, St. Thomas, Lumberton, PNG) at home, but figuratively we're 4-1 at home...

He looked a little lost. Maybe he expected it to roll into the endzone. Regardless though he should have moved away from it. Great game, Pirates! I knew we could beat the Indians if we got the turnovers under control. Hold onto the ball, run down the clock ... simple, but effective. Good play guys. And game ball should go to Pitman. Shane was great out there tonight. Dang right, congrats to my buddy Shayne! About time he finds the endzone... And I think on his fumble he was already down?

Anyone notice the back-end of that post for Vidor? 0-2 away from home, and we got Livingston/LCM away... HOPEFULLY those away numbers won't matter...

Now most people would see the score and say, "They lost again!?" But I look at it a different way... Last year, this game would've been 5-0 McNeese, but we're starting to keep games closer, and that is a sign of one thing, PROGRESSION... Coach Hardman is impressing me so far... Keep it up ladies!

PNG has always been the class of mid-county, and they showed why tonight... Best sportsmanship of any team I've seen in a while, my hats off to Coach Burnett and his staff to teaching a team to play the game right...
