Was it Franks that was #7? That kid has some freakin' burners man... And Hypolite impressed me alot, kind of reminded me of Brandon Williams in a way... WOS will win their district and make a pretty decent run in the playoffs, as always... There is nothing to be worried about for them... Just because y'all tied Vidor IN A SCRIMMAGE doesn't mean the season is over, and I wouldn't be surprised to see a pretty good game vs Nederland next week... Good luck to the Mustangs...

The main thing that I noticed that was different, is the players all had one thing... CONFIDENCE... Haven't seen that in a while...

IMO, I think Brian Mullan needs to be given a shot at the national team level... Great speed and hustle on the wing, fantastic work rate, and always finds a way to get the ball where it needs to be...

Part of me says that's going to happen because Teinert is more of a thrower than Roman was and has a stronger arm, but then again part of me doubts the play calling... Guess we'll have to wait and see...

I didn't feel like getting up this early to watch the game, but I'm very happy that the U.S. managed to get the win... A win is a win, no matter how you get... Glad to see Dynamo boy Stuart getting the goal, thats going to be a memory for the rest of his life...

Where is the soccer team going to play if Cardinal Stadium is not available? If I am not mistaken, the Univ of Houston stills uses Robertson Stadium for women's soccer games. Wonder how much that costs them since they aren't drawing that much. If their new stadium isn't built in time, I'm sure they would probably play out at The Meadows (Cris Quinn Park) where they're playing one game this season...

I'm from Vidor, and even I think the mascot at PNG makes the experience what it is... Gave me something to look forward to every year playing PNG, lol Stadium looks amazing... Can't wait to see it in person...

Even though I missed the game because of work, I think that if the player is out of bounds, he shouldn't be involved in the play and therefore the Dutch forward should have been called offsides... That is just me though... Idk

I agree with all of the points already stated... But would like to add these: 1.) I think the way Freddy has played the past 2 games, he deserves a starting role for good... 2.) You could tell the difference with Landon on the field, better pace to the offense and more attacking options... 3.) Tim Howard = Bad son of a gun 4.) Defense looked pretty good... 5.) One of the worst officiated games I have seen in a while 6.) That was the funniest thing ever seeing Mascherano actually look down his pants after EJ grabbed you know what, that was priceless... SO FUNNY! I was rolling for hours over that... 7.) Does anyone know what Pablo got his card for? 8.) Kenny Cooper deserves a chance... Big target for headers and has pretty good foot skills for a big man... 9.) I thought Klesjtan had a pretty good game... 10.) Heath Pearce locked his starting job, what a game... 11.) Michael Bradley needs to be booted to the bench, not a fan at all of his game... Stupid fouls and stupid mistakes... and last but not least... 12.) Anyone as surprised as me as to how good Danny Califf played? He literally came out of nowhere and stepped it up big time! For me the defense is getting better and better, and the 4 of Gooch, Califf, Pearce, and Bocanegra sounds pretty dang good... Ok I'm done... Lol

Well with Argentina playing Brazil in the first game of their World Cup qualifying schedule in about a week, I would make a bet as to say that the likes of Messi/Tevez/Riquelme will probably only play the first half or so... With that being said I think Argentina wins this game 2-1 Landon gets his 100th cap tonight to, congrats to him!

EJ had a pretty decent game I thought... Should have put the header away to make it 1-0 off a great cross... But in my humble and honest opinion, the second Freddy stepped off the field, the game was over for the U.S... But they looked alot better compared to the England game, great game by Howard and can't fault Guzan for the goal... Idk I just have a bad feeling for the Argentina game, I forsee Messi with 2 goals... But nonetheless go USA!
