I hate to disagree but I don't think runningbacks from Vidor will be some of the better backs in any area. Ok, I would love to disagree with you... Everybody else is sitting here tooting their horns for their players, so who/what says that I can't do the same? And I would bet that you haven't even seen these 2 play, have you? So just because they come from a school that hasn't had a winning history, doesn't mean they can't be successful... Take Brad Croak, 2 years ago from Vidor, for example... He was one of the best in the area, and just because we didn't have a winning season, doesn't take away from that... So stop chastising players just because they come from a losing team...

And how do you feel about this Coop?

And I can't leave this alone... it also says that you have 10 points on your bench with Sean Franklin... a DEFENDER with the Galaxy... Dude, if you're looking for sympathy in this league, make sure you don't have any defenders on your bench from the Galaxy. That's like being Darth Vader's yoga instructor. He was one of Silsbee's best players last year too, he plays club in Houston, did he just have an off year or something? Because I remember playing against him last year, and he was pretty dang good...

As a friend of Trae, I will definitely agree that he is one of the best in the area, but not in the state... Maybe in a year or two after more development and experience on the varsity level... Keep it up Trae!

That is horrible news to hear Bon, but it's good news for me, lol I read in an interview from Kinnear that Caraccio would be getting ALOT of playing time this year, so you might be fine with him, but of course now you're going to have to rely on the mids and keep to rack in the points...

WOW! I'm having a DejaVu from Lumberton's football season! They win a few games, and since they aren't state ranked all of a sudden, "nobody gives them any repect". This is not an over night event. State rankings for the most part (IMO) are due to their history and returning players. Vidor is having a good season.....SO FAR. but there's alot more ball to be played. 4 games doesn't make a season. You are exactly right, there is ALOT of baseball to be played. And also I agree with midcountymadness, no team in the golden triangle will make it past 2-3 rounds, but that doesn't take away from the talent that they have. Making the playoffs is an accomplishment, and something all players dream about, so just making it to the playoffs this year, especially in 22-4A, shows alot. That's just my 2 cents though.

This score kind of reminds me of the time LCM played Vidor at home at the end of the season last year... One of the bears hit a shot over the scoreboard in RF, and LCM absolutely blew Vidor out of the water... Now, with that being said, I'm sure Coach Green will light a fire under the Pirates' tushes, and they will come out and pick up a win against Nederland Friday... Good Luck Pirates!
