WOW! This is soooo not true! It was 5, and three of them were PK's. :-\ My thought was always "Take them however you can get them"... It's because there are only 3 sports to play in junior high, so everyone played football. There were ALOT of great players that played in junior high, but played only because it was the only thing offered. So when they got to high school, where their main sports were offered, they went to them. Thats just my opinion, mainly because I went through it, and I for one played football in junior high, then when I got to high school, I went straight soccer, except for my junior and senior year where I kicked for the football team.

And don't forget Michael Harrington the rookie defender at KC who you could get for the minimum price even thought he started just about every game in the midfield. I have a question though... Since LCM got a point out of the shootout loss to Lumberton, wouldn't that move them 4 points ahead of Vidor?

Although it's not likely, Ozen almost beat Nederland and hopefully will come out and play with the same intensity that they played vs Nederland, but this time against LCM. It's all Vidor can hope for.

What merits this response? Because had that PK been awarded, Vidor gains momentum and goes into halftime leading 1-0. When Vidor leads at halftime, they NORMALLY don't lose, and thats why I said it would be that scoreline.

Had the PK been awarded in the first half, Vidor wins 2-1. But can't change anything. We can only hope that LCM loses to Ozen, and then hope that Vidor wins their last 2 games. Nederland wasn't that impressive, they were better the first time Vidor played them. Vidor can't play kickball over the top and hope to win, there was no possession at all whatsoever.

I agree. Most of Central's players were calm and collective and just went out and played. Fernando is absolutely amazing with the ball at his feet, with a better attitude and perhaps a better team, he could be one of/if not the best player in the district... So yes I apologize if what I said was directed towards the entire team, because it wasn't... Just to the ones that mouthed off the entire time... But I still have never seen a team that had so many players that just tried to instigate, its unbelieveable...

I think 2 years ago, Nederland went a few rounds deep and BARELY lost to Brenham 2-1 in OT I believe...

Ok, here's my 2 cents... Usually when someone runs into you, you fall backwards... Fernando fell FORWARDS, automatic card to him and free kick for Vidor from the spot... Had that had happened like it should have, Vidor wins in OT 3-2
