  1. You can't forget about Taylor Robichau, Will Fontnow, Larry Williams and VJ Bunner as well... This season looks pretty good for Coach Green...
  2. They lost all 3 games, but Travis told me that they had fun playing and thats all that matter is having fun! And I'm really thinking hard about coming to that game... How much does it cost to get in? I think I should get in for free, being as that I'm a local celebrity and all HAHA JK
  3. I know I'm going to get smited for this... But Vidor played this year with pretty much nothing but Sophomores and Juniors, so I wouldn't count them out as some upset picks next year...
  4. Since I will be home this coming weekend, I am going to try and come out and watch that St. Thomas game... Sounds like its going to be great! Good luck Bulldogs! You are representing SETX soccer well...
  5. That is good news, but I say one thing and one thing only... PITCHING!
  6. I will be working this game! Hope to meet some of you fellow setxsports people! Go Mustangs!
  7. Now 5-0, going for 6-0 tonight vs Hardin-Simmons
  8. I got this off of www.gobearkats.com Autuan Bootle, a 6-7, 265-pound senior at Saint Thomas High School in Houston, has signed a letter-of-intent to attend Sam Houston State University and play men’s basketball for Head Coach Bob Marlin. Bootle is a third team preseason All-Greater Houston selection as a senior. Both his sophomore and junior seasons he earned All-District and TAPS first team all-state honors. He led Saint Thomas to the state finals as a sophomore and the regional finals his junior year. Averaging 16.1 points and 17.2 rebounds last year, he earned district “Most Valuable Player†honors.
  9. The Bearkats defeated NIT participant Fresno State 68-57 to run its record to 4-0... With the win the Bearkats extended the nation's third longest home court non-conference winning streak to 40 victories. Only Duke, with 53 consecutive victories, and Utah State, with 47, have longer streaks. Eat Em Up KATS!!
  10. The 1725 to New Waverly is the route that I take from Vidor to here at SHSU. It easily takes 20-30 minutes off the time. Good Luck Mustangs... If any of you here on SETXsports make it out to the game give me a holler, I will be running the camera for the scoreboard. So the replay shots are coming from me ;D ;D
  11. Lets see. I think there may be 4-5 seniors at the most, and only 2-3 of them will start. So that makes for a pretty young team.
  12. Ben and Beav, don't listen to him, he doesn't represent Vidor's team views... We all know Kelly is going to win rather easily, so lets just go on with our business...
  13. not gunna lie, that was absolutely freakin hilarioussss ;D ;D
  14. I'm thankful for everyone who has helped me through my first semester of college... My family... and last but not least, God, for giving me a great life to live and all the blessings he provides us. Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!!
  15. Week 13 USC @ Arizona St. Boise St. @ Hawaii Texas @ Texas A&M Virginia Tech @ Virginia Clemson @ South Carolina Alabama @ Auburn Missouri v. Kansas Oklahoma St. @ Oklahoma Tennessee @ Kentucky Florida St. @ Florida
  16. Kelly's keeper is Nathan Stockie, and he is quite talented. Their back-up isnt too bad either in Alvarado.
  17. Nederland is going to be a little tougher than you think. Their entire team is nothing but juniors and sophomores.
  18. In order: Kelly West Brook Lumberton Nederland Central PNG Vidor Silsbee Memorial LCM
  19. First off, Vidor's defense is going to be composed of players that have never played Varsity soccer, or atleast defensive varsity soccer. So Kelly will exploit Vidor's weakness in the defense, and yes they will score that many on yall's defense. All I have to say is Matt Kirby and Ben Hanks, very great offensive players. Now the fact of being shutout. You also have to realize that Kelly's defense is top notch. The reason they are giving up alot of goals is because not only is it the beginning of their season, but also because they are playing some STIFF competition. Once again I'm not knocking my former team, I'm just saying yall are playing this game for a reason, to get beat and to see what your weaknesses are. If Vidor is going to have any chance of scoring, Timmy and Travis are going to have to work together and take some good shots. Good luck Pirates!
  20. Haha I had you hooked up there Beav...
  21. To be honest with you I think Kelly will give Vidor all they can take, and I'm gunna go ahead and predict a score for this one. Kelly - 5 Vidor - 0 I wish it would be different, but Kelly is just going to be too good.
  22. Well actually those were Kelly/WB/Nederland's bench and JV players, only a few of them were varsity players. But nonetheless yall still did play pretty well. As of competing in Kelly's district, I'm not sure about that. Those are some of the best teams in the state... But Vidor will be decent this year. Not knocking my former team from last year, just lets wait till this season gets started to see how good yall are...
