I would not allow the referees in that area to officiate a game. The coach always has the option to have U.I.L. officials from other areas officiate the game. If I was Dayton, I would consider calling in officials from another area and have them officiate the game in BH. As far as officiating goes, it is very hard to find officials. That is why you get some officials who have no business out there. Also, the fans are terrible. Officiating is one of the most unappreciated jobs. Fans and coaches heckle officials. I say that any fan of the game should try officiating once and see. I believe they would be shocked.

I saw the video replay, and I believe that the Ozen girl should be rendered inelgible to play for the remainder of the year in any sport. I wonder what happened to COACH1UP. Why isn't he speculating on this one? I would also like to say that I told you Ozen was not going to beat Central.

If you want them to stop then you need to communicate and get organized because you don't do either of the two. Nothing in the above conversations are lies. It is the truth......bottom line.

This is all I know and pretty much all that matters: Ozen 4-0 Livingston 3-1 Central 3-1 All the other teams will be playing for the 4th spot, but LIV, CEN, and OZEN will be 1,2,&3. What order is anyone's guess.

Hey Hillguy, Thanks for your replies. I like a good argument. I am not trying to say the BH is a terrible team, I just think that sometimes those who do the rankings have no clue what they are talking about. They still had Central ranked higher than Livingston and a few other teams even after Central lost to Livingston. How can that be? I have seen BH play at the Montgomery tournament. I am not so sure that they are as good as everyone is piping them up to be. They were blown out in the game that I watched pretty badly. So, please pardon me if I am not that high on BH right now. They have plenty of potential, but I believe they get higher rankings due to the coach they have and not the play of the players. I could be wrong and will admit that if the time comes that I need to concede my thoughts. Until then...good luck and I wish BH the best on their season. 

Once again TABC is smoking dope if they think BH is better than Livingston. That is a complete joke if I ever saw one.

I just want to know one thing...have you seen Tarkington play? If you haven't, you need to consider them. They play as good as defense as Orangefield but have a little more fire power from the 3-point line. I am not counting out Orangefield because I know they have some tenacious girls who don't quit. Orangefield can beat them, but if Tarkington is hitting the 3 pointers is going to be a long defensive night for Orangefield. Tarkington took the Consolation bracket at the Livingston Tournament. Both Orangefield and Tarkington had tough draws in the first round and Tarkington beat the team that beat Orangefield to get to the consolation game. So, I wouldn't count Tarkington out of this game. Tarkington has a good chance to make it to the playoffs this year behind Cleveland and Coldsprings. It will be tight between them and Splendora.

You got to be kidding. The Willis tournament had better teams in it than the Gulf Coast Classic. Give me a freaking break.

I just want to know who you would want to invite district teams to your tournament. I also want to know why several teams out of the Beaumont district want to play in the same tournament. Why? Really? Why? There are plenty of tournaments to play in. Go to a different one and get your school out of district play when you play each other twice anyway. You team needs more exposure than just your district. Winning your district or making the playoffs is just the beginning.

I wasn't there but I can tell you what happened. It is always what happens when you go to Ozen. One word....DISORGANIZATION! Oh three....NO COMMUNICATION!

I have seen both teams play. They look pretty even. Orangefield needs to stay disciplined and play solid fundamental basketball like they always do. They need to stay  tough on defense and contest every 3-pointer Tarkington shoots and they will have a chance to win. If Orangefield don't, Tarkington will have a track meet of 3's for them. Make Tarkington play an inside game or you will not have a chance.
