[i]If[/i] EC makes it out of the 2nd round? They've beat Hemphill once this year so I would say going into this game EC will be the favorite to win. Also, if both Woodville and EC make it to Tyler I think the game will be an extremely close one.

Actually Trey Peters only hold the free throw record. Tramain Thomas holds both the high score overall in a game with 63 points and the most points ever scored in a national tournament..

East Chambers beat Hardin twice this year in district once by 27 and 13. The game @ EC in which they won by 13 was the worst I've seen the EC team play in district (everyone has a bad game or two). EC won every district game by at least 13 points and in most cases blew everyone in district by 20+. Woodville more than likely will blow Hardin out of the gym.

i disagree, coaching puts the teams together, yes the girls have to play but without proper coaching 9 times out of 10 they won't be successful. In the case of East Chambers players are not the coaches.

Kountze has had more than their share of move-ins over the years.. and fyi this Kountze team couldn't beat that 04-05 Kountze team for who ever said they thought this team could be better than that team

EC vs. Kountze during the 04-05 school year was classic.

The guy sitting on the edge of the EC bench they announced the other night has won over 800 games was it? Also hold more than one state 2A record. I wouldn't be too over confident Woodville, this EC team is good and has an excellent well respected coach as well.

Since i've heard so much about how this Kountze team is going to beat up on the Bucs I was wondering since I haven't seen them play this year is this team as good as the 2004-2005 Kountze team that had Ashton Hall?

He is retiring,...sorry i was talking about for 2A school with the record, 2nd  for all classes is pretty impressive as well.

Tonights Coach Penny's last home game! Hope all the E.C. fans can make it out, he has done great things for this program..he didn't lose a district game for 13 years, making it the longest winning streak in the state along with various other accomplishments that one is just great!

Tramain could have played both Basketball and Football in college, he has done good thus far in the SEC in football but, I wished he would have played basketball, I think he would have stood out much more on the hardwood!

As far as the school thing goes I have a college degree so that won't be necessary for me to go back, I wasn't comparing the two, learn the difference between a comparison and a statement to help prove the point that East Chambers has speed which helps with their press. We we'll see.

You have got to be kidding me, this is retarded. Of course just because they are good at track does not automatically make them good at basketball and if you can't read into that from my original post than you should go back to school. The East Chambers track girls make up the 1,2 and 3 positions on the floor and they run and strong press and their speed allows them to be very successful defensively and offensively along with their ability to dribble and shoot the basketball. Anything else I need to clear up for people that are just trying to cause an argument?

I know E.C. is losing one starter Shelby Franzen but they have a sophomore Alli Way that's probably equally as good. Also I think there is one or two girls that come off the bench. Carrington is only a Sophomore this is year and playing like an upper class man. The key to this team is there great speed, the relay team was 2nd in state last year and most of the girls are on the team. I think next year E.C. will be stacked with talented players coming up depending on who will be named the new head coach. Also Kendall George's littler sister Konnor is a freshman who just got moved up to varsity this year I look for her to be a great player just as her sister was back in the early 2000's.

We will see, I think it will be (if both teams make it that far) one heck of a game! I really hope the Lady Bucs go far this year since this is Pennys last he's retiring and has been a great coach.
