Unknown!!!! In his first year he took the team to regionals. We lost to Clarksville like 102 - 98 I believe in the semis. Last year we lost to KTZ. in round 3. He has two district titles. The third should be coming. He has only lost two district games. The first in his first district game to Franklin and the second two weeks ago against Mart. That is not bad for a guy who was really a football player. He played in the NFL and came to coach Hearne his old high school after that. If it is money with that resume he should not have a problem going elsewhere.

We was at #7 2 weeks ago. We went 1-1 one and went to 10. We went 2-0 and went to 14!!!!

Hearne even dropped four spots after two wins!!!!!

He is in his third year.

Rumors around Hearne is that Coach Mcgrew has already told close associates that he is leaving his home town of Hearne. Could be a nice job for a coach. Got a good JV team. They have not lost a game in district. Then their is only four seniors on this years team.

Hearne is now 22-6 and 10-1 in 22-2A.

Also Crawford has ties just like Buna and wanted to remain 2a. It is funny they turned in 195 the start number for 2a.

I knew that if Buna was close, with UIL ties they would drop. 413 and the cutoff ended up being 414. Crawford also has ties and wanted to stay 2a. They turned in 195 and the 2a started at 195. That was lower than a lot of people expected.

Finally Region 3 AA Marlin, Newton, Mart, PP, and Crawford for football, ouch!!!! Basketball is not any easier. Region 3 is loaded.

They are okay they are just young. Next year they should be real good. I'm expecting them to leave our district and go to the district that Grapeland and Alto is Vacating. I expect them to be 1a.
