Bridge City and Nederland were there but they played in a different gym. Not sure how they did.

The Silsbee Lady Tigers won 2nd place in the La Porte Tournament this weekend. Thirty teams participated in the tournament. Silsbee defeated South Houston, La Porte, Port Neches-Groves, and Pasadena Dobie before falling to Mansfield in the final. Congratulations Lady Tigers!

The tournament was very well run. Thanks to the good folks from Vidor for making us feel so welcome.

Silsbee won 3-0 tonight in Vidor.

I saw some good volleyball at the Ozen Power Play Summer league. Ozen has a girl who can get up! Don't know her name, but she is definitely one to watch.

Unfortunately, Matthew Deaver didn't win the final, but we are still proud of Matthew for his second place finish. We are already looking forward to next year! Way to go Matthew!
