Meg's team looked good and they have some serious threats. You could tell they wanted to play their best for Coach O. in the Mother/Daughter Showdown! Hats off to both teams!!!

There have been female football coaches here in the state of Texas. I don't know of any head coaches, but I do remember a school in Northeast Texas had a female assistant coach back in the eighties.

I had previously heard on Channel 4 that the other Silsbee student had passed away. This information was not accurate. He is in serious condition and needs yours prayers. Donovan and his brother Xavier have been released from the hospital but their grandmother is still there. Please keep the prayers coming for all involved.

I heard it yesterday. Channel 4 news reported it today. Very sad news. Miguel was a great young man.

Unfortunately, the other Silsbee student, Miguel Anaya, did not make it. He would have been a freshmen at Silsbee High School. Please keep the Harris and Anaya families in your prayers. update: This information is not accurate. Channel 4 had reported that he had passed away but Miguel is still in the hospital and is very serious.
