I can't play all my cards just yet. She practiced setting everyday just in case we needed her last season. She also plays setter for her club team.

The setter I am referring to actually played on varsity last year, just in a different position. She is very talented.

Silsbee's freshmen team is also playing without would-be starters. Probably the best freshmen we have is out because of knee surgery. Another is starting on the JV team and there are a couple of others who aren't playing right now.

Pheal is definitely a beast! If we don't have him last night, it is a whole different ball game. He is the biggest little man I have ever seen. He has a vertical jump that is out of this world. Fun, fun, fun to watch.

I saw all three of HF's teams play tonight and I think the freshmen group has some talent. They played Silsbee tough the whole game, had some good shooters (#32 especially), had good size and moved the ball around well. Maybe this will be the group to turn things around.

Wow! Awesome story! It is good to know that some coaches still remember that there is more to sports than just winning ballgames.

I think the people who are commenting about that are from WOS and HF, not Silsbee.
