I agree, he's done a great job over there. I would have to give Coach Huckabay from Orangefield some notice as well. Basically took the same team that won 1 game last year, installed a new complex offense literally in a couple of months time and has so far won 4 games. We've been in every single game this year except for one (Silsbee) and have lost two district games by a combined 8 points. We're competitive again in Orangefield and I think we'll be competitive for some time.

Orangefield's JV team that consist of 4 freshmen have went undefeated in district so far this year...add to that we start a freshmen on Varsity, you can see how strong our freshmen class really is. But taking nothing away from Silsbee they will be Freshmen Champs. Like to give props to our JV team that is undefeated so far...that equals [i][b]DOMINATION!!![/b][/i]

[/quote] How soon some people forget, BC went 0-10 and gave up 65 points to Orangefield that year. I don't remember a single person on this board from Orangefield calling BC's defense pathetic.

Silsbee is a very good football team...most complete team I've seen all year. They completely destroyed my Bobcats last night, sometimes teams are just better and that was the case last night. I respect the way they play the game and get after people. Wasn't any show-boating are anything like that. They were on a mission to prove a point last night and they proved it. Hats off to the Silsbee players and coaches. They completely shut us down last night, something that no one else has been able to do all year. They were well prepared and it showed. I think this team will make a statement come playoff time and they'll represent 21-3A well. Also talked to some of the Silsbee players as we were making our way to the car last night, very respectful and were very polite and appreciative of us telling them they played well and good luck in the playoffs. I'll be rooting for the Tigers from here on out. Cats, just keep your heads up guys. We've made incredible strides this year and we still have a chance at the playoffs...that's all you can ask for at this point in the season. Heard our QB made a trip to the ER last night, haven't heard anything else. Hope he's well for the Bayou Bowl next week!!!

their defense is pathetic and can be scored on at will, and if you stop their running game they have NOTHING! Our defense must get better and we know that...someone smart said Rome wasn't built in a day...we know that. But to say that we're a one dimensional team on offense is kind of misleading. We haven't had to throw the ball all year!!! We can throw it around and we did the other night. Now if your referring to the end of the game when everyone in the house knew we had to throw it, well yea, it didn't work out to well. Just keeping thinking we can't throw it and we'll burn ya...we kind of lull people to sleep with our offense and then hit you with the big pass play!!!

Huge game for both teams on Tuesday night. Bridge City must win to keep it's playoff hopes alive and Orangefield would clinch a playoff spot with a win. Gonna be tough in Bridge City, but my Bobcats always seem to play them well there. Should be an instant classic, and I believe it will go all 5 games!!! Go Lady Cats!!!

This game scares me...Orangefield is coming off a huge emotional win against their biggest rival and Silsbee is in a must win situation so they don't fall further behind the pack. Trap game...just hope my Lady Cats don't fall for it...but it's gonna be tough to win in Silsbee!!! Go Lady Cats!!!
