correction to previous post of pool play today.  At 8:00 PM it is LCM vs HF not Lumberton vs HF.

Kind of puts LCM loss in perspective.  Just goes to show you that no win is guaranteed.

wow, didn't expect PNG to play this close. 

Lets just say LCM has lots of talent if they can reduce turnovers and make shots.  Tonight they reduced turnover and made their shots.  They still had a rough time at the free throw line.  They actually slowed the game down and the whole team played so the score could have been higher. In defense of Lumberton, they had an off-night.  I didn't count but they missed a bunch of shots that should have been made. The LCM bears will get to test themselves again against HJ at the EC tournament.  I would like them to play at the top of thier game and see how close they could hang with HJ.

;)  Love first game of season.  We can say, "Were number 1" or at least tied. :P

I think lcm biggest enemy is lcm. Against west orange they missed 23 ft aand turned the ball ovet 20 times. With all that they only lost by 4. They won't fix all thier problems but if they can reduce them, they may get 4th.

LCM had this game won and gave it away.  They need to learn to control the ball. :'(

LCM beat Bastrop in overtime.  LCM gets third place.

.cm beat Castro in overtime for 3rd place.

LCM and HJ play at 12:30.  Then LCM will play at 8:00.  ;D

LCM and HJ tomorrow at 12:30.  The winner of that one will probably play Kingwood park at 8:00 PM.  Bears played better game against Dayton.  Will have tough game against HJ press. 

I thought lcm shutdown ap tall players. Lcm self desfructed in 3rd period with foolish turnovers. They fixed that in the fourth.  u

I thought HIghtower had Nederland beat.  Going into the 4th period you could see Nederland was tiring out.  I think Hightower's big mistake was stalling and trying to run time out and make Nederland come to them.  I think it let Nederland get their breath back.  Nederland found a way to win in the end.  They will be tough this year and tougher next.  Hoping LCM can at least win one of the two this year with them.

I wonder how the brackets were made.  All the top state ranked teams were in the top brackets and local schools except for one are in the bottom. 

So it looks like LCM vs Lufkin tomorrow at 7:30.

I don't think you should put too much in scrimmige results.  For instance, LCM was tied at half.  The major thing to consider is the coaches play everyone to see how they play. They don't just play their starters.

LCM won the tournament by beating Nederland 39 to 37. Close game.  LCM had over 10 point lead at one time. Nederland battled back but fell short. Good game to both sides.  Yes, LCM beat PA by around 15.

Nederland and LCM play at 8:45 PM for the championship.

I think LCM and Livingston, if they beat Vidor will play for the 4th spot. Anyone know?
