I have seen FF play and I know HJ very well. I have seen HJ play numorous times. and I can honestly say FF will get beat. If you think that the district FF plays in is stronger than 21-3A than you are misguided. FF would have finished behind WOS in that district. Sorry but the truth hurts sometimes.

You don't have to score 45 if your defense holds the other team to 44. They also don't lose their composure very easily either. They were down by 9 with about 4 minutes left in the Mexia game and they tightened up and won by 3. Coach Worley and Coach Merrick both do a great job! [/quote] I was there and it did get UGLY. This rivalry has some deep roots, from little dribbler basketball up through high school. Next year they are back in the same District, so they will be matching up in every sport for 1 or 2 games. Usually its just some inmature fan running their mouth that causes a problem, the players and coach's always seem to show restraint. [/quote] Needless to say next year will be very interesting ;D

They beat Crockett in FF and lost to them on the road. Crockett could not hit the broad side of a barn that night in FF

The Fairfield district was very weak. They have not faced a press like HJ will put on them. Fairfield would have finished behind WOS if they were in yor district. This is not blowing smoke. Their district was pitiful.

[/quote]If this report is any where close to accurate, welcome to the finals HAWKS [/quote] I smell bait.  Somebody trying to encourage the Hawks to regard Fairfield like some have regarded the Hawks [/quote]Fairfield has two 6'6" guys....One is beast and can create shots, the other is a rebounder and scores most of his points on putbacks.....their point guard was first team all district last year, can light it up from outside and can take it to the hole...also #12 can knock down the three....they are big and athletic and like to control tempo. Should be a good game. [/quote] IThey do have a 6'7 sophomore, but he rarely plays unless the other post gets in foul trouble
