  1. Cant disagree. Reminds me of all the time, effort, and energy spent on changing the name of the Washington Redskins.
  2. AT least it wasnt labeled as workplace violence.
  3. And neither do your accusations without validation. It costs the same to provide security for an employee whether or not he is related to the President.
  4. would have been front page of every major newspaper and MSNBC would have done a 72 hour non stop special on it
  5. Tobie, whenever you bring up finances for the Presidents, why do you fail to acknowledge that Mr. Trump does not accept his Presidential salary?
  6. Correction: The "perception" of hate is real but only perceived by those who do the most hating.
  7. Just heard from a reasonably reliable source that bump stocks were approved by the ATF in 2010 during the Obama administration. Just trying to figure out if this will be blamed on Bush because it was way too early for blaming Trump.
  8. Thats all true about Mitt Romney but I don't recall you singing his praises.
  9. Congrats on another meaningful, deeply analytical comment.
  10. The topic was the conduct of a professional football player in the public eye. But do tell- what type of protests have you been holding since a bad cop threatened you 20 years ago? Speaking of threats, you provide veiled threats here almost daily but that appears to be, in your mind, ok.
  11. Tobie, perhaps you should consider running for 2020 election.
  12. I stand corrected- that is more important than anything
  13. What makes Trump so bad? Well, it's not the 17% advance in the stock market made since the day he was elected. It's not the 860 regulations that have been rolled back from the prior administration It's not the economy which is on track to approach 3% GDP this quarter for the first time in over 10 years.
  14. Great work Tobie- Please enlighten us- How did the President "buy" his wife, I need some proof rather than just your supposition. I think the truth "would do" when I was told to expect a $2500 annual premium decrease in my healthcare bill and instead, got an increase of considerably more than that. So he cheats on his taxes? With all of the smart/brilliant democrats available to substantiate that claim, why hasn't it happened.
  15. I think you totally misunderstand me. My point is that if you or Kaepernick or whomever, feels so very strongly about something, was that something not worth expressing your sentiments about much sooner than the fall of 2016?
  16. You dont have to be as "smart" as big girl to figure this one out.
  17. I still want to understand why, if the "oppression" is something that Mr. Kaepernick and his ilk so strongly believe in, why is it that there were no "demonstrations" until last year? Certainly all of this injustice was also taking place in many prior years?
  18. 2 wedge- I believe his is suggesting that you bring it rather than sing it
  19. Until BG gets involved, the constitution has not been adequately analyzed.
  20. I wish to challenge your assertion. Please document your 99% claim because I think it is very similar to the claim of another board member that he knew people who were troubled by the Kaepernick situation and yet were not troubled by the James Byrd dragging ( even though they were 20 years apart)
  21. If he was, I doubt the media will bring this to the forefront unless forced to
  22. I am not equipped to argue about the constitution and I suspect that the vast majority of folks are in the same boat. But perhaps I can offer an alternate perspective. Just as I would not care to have my waitress say grace when she served the food at our table, I would not care for my barber to kneel, thus exercising one of his "rights" just as he was about to cut my hair. And I am still very troubled by the fact that there is such an uproar about Mr. Kaepernicks "rights" but little if any concern about the NFL refusing to allow Dallas Cowboy players to wear a patch honoring the fallen policemen. Why is Mr. Kaepernicks "right" honored and the "rights" of the Cowboys rejected/disallowed?
  23. Yes they are and no where, in any of their contracts, is a clause that provides for offering social and political opinions,
  24. And neither is refusing to bake a cake for a gay couple. And neither is calling your team the Redskins. And neither is erecting statues of historical figures.
  25. I will bet that if someone called you to task on this, you couldn't provide a single name since the two circumstances were nearly 20 years apart. I know how good it sounds and how you believe it bolsters your narrative, but I am very confident that you have had ZERO conversations where you asked someone who was upset with the Kaepernick situation and they said yes and then you followed up regarding the Byrd situation and they said no. Get real, please.
