  1. I need your insight on why some terrorist bombers do not represent all Muslims and yet, at the same time, some white Nationalists represent every single voter who voted for Trump. Thanks in advance.
  2. I think its quite apparent to all that participate on this board that she is quite "selective" on who deserves to be punished, hurt, embarrassed, etc.
  3. Honestly, I didnt give much thought to how it sounded. But you obviously did. How did it sound to you?
  4. If you pull the hook out of my mouth, will that cement your status as the "masterbaitor"?
  5. It's is so very interesting that the Dems had the Presidency and both Houses in 2008 and were obviously elected by some really smart people. Could one conclude that, during the 8 years of the Presidency of the "enlightened", the voters suddenly became dumber? I can't imagine that happening while someone so very smart was in power- the one who knows better- the only adult in the room- the visionary-the chosen one- yada yada yada- I know how repulsive and unacceptable this question will be but I just have to ask. Is it even remotely possible that some over estimate their intelligence/intellect? Are they so firmly convinced that they, and only they, know what is best? Could it be that the thoughts, ideas, and values of others ought to be considered rather than dismissed? Wouldn't these questions fall into the category of tolerance and inclusiveness? Two areas that are allegedly the exclusive provenance of the left?
  6. How did this happen if, as you infer, the vast majority of the "smart" people are on the other side? So smart that they lost over 1000 state legislative seats and both houses and the Presidency?
  7. Pretty interesting perspective from one who might possibly be a fellow deplorable. How dare you have the temerity to believe that your opinion could be as valid as someone on the left? I can't help but wonder why this West Virginia circumstance was looked askance upon when Trump did not immediately denounce what happened. If my memory is correct, when the Dallas Police officers were murdered, the President at the time was hailed as the voice of reason when he declared" Let's not rush to judgement. Let's wait for the facts" But, since I am very willing to consider information broadcast by Fox, that immediately disqualifies me from having a valid opinion. I guess I need to listen to Dan Rather and Brian Williams more often in an attempt to gain enlightened status.
  8. If I tell you I am a high school dropout, what is the significance? If I tell you I have two masters degrees, what is the significance?
  9. BG- When you do not answer his question but instead pose another one, does that mean you are not sufficiently educated to give the answer?
  10. Yes it does. And the same broad electorate that selected Mr. Obama also selected Mr. Trump. If the electorate became less educated, I guess you could give that credit to Mr. Obama since he was in office when the alleged "decline" took place.
  11. Senator Robert Byrd, a Democrat ,was a recruiter for the KKK in his early years and attained a position in the hierarch of that organization in West Virginia. He was either a Senator and/or U.S. House member from 1953 until 2010. He has a number of streets and highways named after him. Do all of those street/highway names need to be eliminated?
  12. You will be told it is attributable to economic disenfranchisement and/or lack of opportunity.
  13. Don't get me wrong, I am all for education and its benefits. However, one can be pretty well educated in spite of a deficiency in the upper extremities of a formal education. I have mentioned this before, but two experiences in my lifetime suggest there is more to being intellectually competent than an Oxford Degree. First example: In my business, one must pass the securities exam in order to practice. One of my past bosses told me that, in his Chicago office, three Ivy League educated aspirants came to our company and scoffed at the thought of having to pass such an exam. Yes, all three failed it. Second Example: Long Term Capital management was an investment firm founded in 1994. Within its organizational structure were some really well educated folks including 2 or 3 Nobel Laureates. In 1998, the firm had lost so much money and was such a threat to our financial system that 16 financial institutions arranged for a 3.6 billion bailout under the supervision of the Federal Reserve. (Maybe a little more practice in hands on experience would have been more productive than a depth of understanding of algorhythm.)One more less important experience: I had a distant cousin who had two separate doctorate degrees and, as of age 45 had never held a job.
  14. I am always intrigued by the notion that when Mr. Obama was elected, it was due to a more sophisticated, more educated, and more refined group of voters. But when November of 2016 rolled around, the voters were suddenly ignorant and less "enlightened".
  15. And the supposition/assumption associated with that statement would render one less enlightened than perceived.
  16. Because with indoctrination comes enlightenment my friends.
  17. Just how enlightened is the following: " What do we want? - DEAD COPS. -When do want it NOW"
  18. Surely you jest. President Obama promised us a $2500 annual premium reduction for the average American family. Now I fully understand this pales in comparison to Trump lying about his golf handicap but it is still worth knowing.
  19. That description might be a bit of a stretch.
  20. And I just saw one that says " Dear North Korea, we have moved Guam" followed by a picture of the island superimposed over the state of California.
  21. Of course he knew of the threat. But he and the rest of the left were so firmly convinced that Hillary would win in a landslide, they didn't dare bring that circumstance to the forefront because it might have tainted the "guaranteed, locked it" HRC "victory".
  22. Then you are telling me that not only is Mr. Trump not getting the job done but Mr. Obama was a failure in this area as well.
