  1. There are 3,141 counties in the United States. Trump won 3,084 of them. Clinton won 57. There are 62 counties in New York State. Trump won 46 of them. Clinton won 16. Clinton won the popular vote by approx. 1.5 million votes. In the 5 counties that encompass NYC, (Bronx, Brooklyn, Manhattan, Richmond & Queens) Clinton received well over 2 million more votes than Trump. (Clinton only won 4 of these counties; Trump won Richmond) Therefore these 5 counties alone, more than accounted for Clinton winning the popular vote of the entire country. These 5 counties comprise 319 square miles. The United States is comprised of 3, 797,000 square miles. When you have a country that encompasses almost 4 million square miles of territory, it would be ludicrous to even suggest that the vote of those who inhabit a mere 319 square miles should dictate the outcome of a national election. Large, densely populated Democrat cities (NYC, Chicago, LA, etc) don’t and shouldn’t speak for the rest of our country.
  2. The Dems still dont get this: When the average family sits down at the dinner table, are they discussing how great it is to have transgender bathrooms and confederate flags removed or are they more likely to be concerned with what impact the slow growth economy is having on their personal situations and their ever increasing health care costs? I know the answer but it would appear the left STILL does not. ( hint- Keith Ellison is not the solution)
  3. Stock market had it's biggest weekly gain in five years following the election. I guess the collective wisdom of every particpant in the markets failed to get concerned over tweets.
  4. Amazing for Kountze to suit only 7 players, and not appear to get tired.
  5. Definitely. Hawks will put 5 players on the floor who have never played with each other until the start of this regular season. Very young and not a lot of size. I think you might have to consider Kountze a slight favorite on their home floor.
  6. As long as we give priority to being politically correct over practicality
  7. At the Ivy League schools, most of the teaching time is dedicated to indoctrination and political correctness.
  8. I miss the wisdom of the missing!!
  9. Maybe the Hollywood left bought all the seats
  10. That comment will not register with those for whom you intend it.
  11. Or could be in mourning for loss of Castro. Pretty hard on a lib to get slaughtered at the ballot box and then to lose a dear dictator.
  12. Has anyone noticed ( other than me) the infrequent visibility on this board by two particular lefties since election night?
  13. Very true. I can only talk the talk. Incapable of the walk.
  14. If I coached on a regular basis, I would lead the league in technicals.
  15. Come on now, Engelbert. Nappy and his team sincerely believe that those "rules of consistency" apply only to Republicans, right Nappy?
  16. Would Da Dove be the referee? Keep in mind that Hoops is a liberal and I am a conservative. With Dove officiating, I would be called for traveling or double dribble on every possession before I could get a shot off.
  17. Many of the indoctrinated have not the slightest idea that they have been indoctrinated.
  18. It is quite amazing that you can predict the future. If Obama could have stayed another 4 years or Hillary would have been elected, would anything have changed? And you dislike war but support BLM riots?
  19. Nothing will change? Thanks for confirming that the last 8 years have NOT benefitted the working folks.
  20. Again, as Mr. Bannon so eloquently stated, this group of folks ( New York Times, MSNBC, CBS, ABC, NBC) all circulate the same stuff to each other. Then they tell one another how smart and insightful they are and how each of them really has a grasp on reality. All of this takes place within their own little biased "bubble". They totally ignore and look askance at the rest of the world. The rest of the world just sent them a very strong message and yet they still consider themselves to be more "enlightened" and more "relevant" than anyone who isn't a member of their elite group.
  21. The name of the op-ed columnist tells one pretty much everything one needs to know. [Hidden Content]
