  1. And the answer is more of these tax payer funded programs? Yea, right. Lets get more of the above plus free cell phones, free college, etc etc but defund the police. What a crock
  2. No, I did not receive FEMA assistance. I was a good boy, bought my own insurance and, in being responsible for such instances did not expect someone else to cover me. Isnt it amazing? I actually earned my own money, and bought my own insurance . Of course, I was taught that way instead of being taught that somebody owes me something because I am a victim. Yes, learning personal responsibility can be a great lesson.
  3. Those are admirable qualities as long as they arent exclusive. Should one be taught that he/she should provide cradle to grave care for anyone who cannot/will not take care of themselves including those from other countries?
  4. After they are born, teach them family values and personal responsibility. Better achieved by the family than the government.
  5. And how does your critical thinking mechanism conclude that he lacks feeling for those who died?
  6. IF it wasn't being taken seriously, why was the country out of toilet paper and clorox wipes the first week of march?
  7. You dont have to have had an abortion. If you support it or support those who support it, you tacitly support it.
  8. Yes, I truly benefitted from white privilege. When I left college, I moved 1200 miles from home to an area where i knew nobody. My dad cosigned a $300 note that allowed me to move down here. I began my work career as a service writer in a car dealership where I was not accepted very well because I was a "yankee". But I persisted, didn't cry that others were mean to me or conspired against me, applied myself and lets just say that the results have been pretty gratifying. I don't recall that getting the service writer job somehow denied that "opportunity" to a black person. I do recall this. I have a close family member who is a pretty good high school basketball coach and know, for a fact, he had been told multiple times not to apply for the coaching job at this school or that school because they wanted a black coach. So much for his white privilege. And one more thing, I never had to use a government program to sustain myself.
  9. I never stated that there werent. If you are trying to create the suggestion that "all good people" dont support Trump, nobody is going to buy that. Plenty of good people who support Biden and plenty of good people who support even though you and the vast majority of the media wont allow that fact to be known.
  10. I served in the military and place a high value on it. With that said, I do not automatically accept, unchallenged, the values/opinions of any individual whether civilian or military. There are plenty of people who don't like Trump. But there are a lot to do. I wonder why it is that we never hear about those people? Could it possibly be that the media is willing accomplice in the effort to get Trump out of office?
  11. 6% of all covid deaths were caused by covid and no other condition
  12. Such a pathetic way to avoid the topic. The tape was listed in another thread, so just deal with the FACTS I listed above.
  13. I think rather than take your "enlightened and critically thought out opinion, I will just wait and see.
  14. We will definitely find out in about 60 days. I will still be here. You, however, will likely have had one or two more identities by then due to your ejection predilection.
  15. It very much changes your inference that Fox is fake news and one should watch CNN. There are hundreds of these. Give me a break.
  16. So this is why our social security is taxed. : Prior to 1983, social security was not taxable. In 1983, Joe Biden voted in favor of taxing 50% of social security and it passed. In 1993, Joe Biden doubled down and was the deciding vote in raising the percentage taxed on social security from 50% to 85%. Joe Biden is not a friend to working folks and certainly not to retirees. His voting record on social security over the years is one slap in the face to retirees after another. Now he wants to tax our 401k's and IRA's (it's on page 78 of the Dems' platform) and he also wants to introduce a 3% annual tax on our homes. The record of Joe Biden shows he never misses an opportunity to raise a tax or introduce a tax to hurt the middle class and retirees.
  17. You are right,. Plus he is doing more critical thinking now, so it might take a while.
  18. Be patient, he has done it to himself multiple times previously.
  19. The only thing that makes a conversation impossible is the refusal by one of the conversants to respond to questions from the other. Another issue that arises in the "conversation" is it becomes difficult when one, who sincerely believes he is the provocateur extraordinaire, fails to realize that everyone is on to him and are responding in a manner that, in his mind, gives him the moral high ground, and never understanding what is really taking place. The conversation could definitely improve if "provacateur" could come to the personally undesired realization that his "intellectual superiority" is illusory. Provacateur also fails to understand that he is the purveyor of inductive reasoning rather than deductive reasoning.
