And ANYONE who believes that he/she is void of some type of prejudice fools only himself/herself. By the way Dove, reporting certain instances and not reporting or barely reporting other certain instances, ALSO REVEALS prejudice and agendas. I will ask you this again: Why does virtually everyone in this country know the names/circumstances of Michael Brown and Trayvon Martin while very few know about Kate Steinle? How many front page articles about the first two were written vs the last one? Wanna guess the ratio of coverage by National TV Networks? Although you will be unwilling to acknowledge that absolute fact, it exists and it is, in itself, a type of prejudice.
-
I believe the point of the originator of this post and the person who wrote the article was that the left does its best to conceal these type of happenings and yet it goes to extremes to provide more than adequate coverage of other events. Can you tell me that if Michael Brown had been a Caucasian that the coverage would have been the same? And you never answer my question as to why all of the Chicago killings get very little coverage. Why is that?

The haves don't want to share the wealth? Please be a little more specific. Do they not want to share it because they don't want to pay more taxes? Do they not want to share because they don't want to give their assets to others? Do they not want to share it because they don't want to provide free healthcare, free college, free cell phones, etc. etc. etc.? Do the "haves" have their wealth because someone simply handed it to them? If you are correct and if this is wrong, what is a reasonable solution? Should a man be given a fish or taught to fish?

And to what writing do you refer? I know for darn sure it is not the second amendment?

I am saying that everyone who lives here has benefitted from the greatness of the country and is better off than they would be in the vast majority of the alternatives.
-
Yes the did. It seems to me, however, those people came here because they wanted to assimilate into the American way of life. Is that what is happening today?
-
I am "insinuating" that this country became a very great country and our forefathers did ALL OF US a favor by creating it.
-
45 million immigrants live in this country. Please name another country that has half that many.

I think you understand my point, but I will play along. People from all over the world are constantly trying to get into this country. Why would they do that if this country is so "hated"? Americans are "trying " to move to Islamic nations? Are they not having success? Is somebody stopping them?
-
Then, from your perspective, this is just another incident that doesn't deserve coverage? The proper attitude is "nothing to see here folks, move along"? Reminiscent of the theory that Lois Lerner had done nothing wrong and it was just a couple of rogue agents in an Ohio IRS office and the issue was unworthy or any notoriety.
-
So making sure that nobody is "inconvenienced" when attempting to enter this country is more important than preventing incidents such as Orlando?
-
Simply amazing Dove. You talk about why this country is hated. Simultaneously, people from all over the world are doing their level best to relocate here. Is that a symbol of hate?

What type of confirmation do you want? Do you want it confirmed by a liberal blog. I have a friend who is a police officer in a neighboring city ( less than 30 miles away) Would you like for me to contact him and report to you or will you say that you need more confirmation since I am a conservative?

THIS IS FROM AN EARLY MORNING ECONOMIC PIECE I WAS READING- GREAT ANALOGY Earlier this year, NHL hockey fans were asked to vote for the captains of the four teams to face off in this year’s new All-Star tourney. Three of the picks were players you’d expect: Jaromir Jagr from the Florida Panthers, Alex Ovechkin from the Washington Capitals, and Patrick Kane from the Chicago Blackhawks: True Gods of the Rink, who have scored hundreds of points. But not the fourth. In a huge surprise, the fans gave the most votes to a long-time journeyman enforcer named John Scott. At age 33, earning the league’s minimum salary, Scott had scored a grand total of five goals in his entire NHL career. Needless to say, the hockey "experts" who run the NHL were not happy. They manufactured a trade to push Scott out of the division he was supposed to Captain. His new team sent him down to the minors. The Establishment NHL bureaucrats thought they had dodged a bullet. But the fans went nuts, pounding the NHL through Social Media with outrage. And guess what? The NHL relented, agreeing to let Scott take on the captain role the fans picked him for. The result: not only did Scott’s team win the All-Star tourney, Scott scored twice against the league’s best and was named the MVP. The fans won! Democracy won. The Establishment won, too, but only after being forced to do the right thing, not just what it thought was best. Obviously presidential politics isn’t the same as voting for the NHL All-Star Game. And there are plenty of factors behind the rise of Donald Trump. But one of them is that many voters think "the system" is rigged against them, that maybe the US really isn’t a Democracy anymore and that no matter what they do, someone else is ultimately making key political decisions. And the best way to test that theory is to vote for someone who the anointed elites and experts universally revile. Because if Trump wins, then, yes, many of these voters will have the proof they need to show the US is still a democracy. How else could Trump win, if the elites are so stacked against him!

Could the "assumed" new coach at West Brook become the AD for BISD?

Dove, was Mr. Saveat simply a victim of "Da Man"?
