I am going to venture a guess that Mr. English is eminently more qualified to make substitution decision than a fan.

I still perceive him as being considerably more fiscally conservative than the current Pres or his likely opponent in the next election.

Or perhaps he is a person who does not "tow the party line" in its entirety as most candidates do. Perhaps he is a liberal in conservative clothing or vice versa. Or maybe he believes ( as an example) that one can support one or several liberal social positions and still believe that Planned Parenthood ought to go the way of the dinosaur.

I have this sneaking suspicion that Mr. Trump is not at all as he currently portrays himself. I am more than confident he has access to all of the so called smart/enlightened advisors who could/would advise him how to conduct his campaign and how to express himself. He has obviously not followed conventional wisdom and is having some success being unconventional. This individual would likely not be where he is today if he is, in reality, the brash blowhard that he is portrayed to be. What impresses me the most is that he is able to totally ignore the media and its attempts to manipulate him as they seem to easily do with most candidates. I personally don't care for the way he portrays himself but I have this feeling that much of it is contrived and intentional and that it might very possibly be an inaccurate reflection of the real person.
