You are right.  But Bush received his criticism constantly from all major networks and for an extended period of time.  The media has so much invested in Obama that they find themselves unable to criticize him for similar deeds.  I also said earlier that Cindy Sheehan got seemingly undending coverage by all major networkds regarding the death of her son during the Bush Presidency and yet the parents of those killed in Benghazi get acknowledged only on Fox News which many of you like to complain doesnt present the news properly.

Thanks Tobie- I think I understand your reasoning-  Now if I can just figure out why Mr. Obama stopped in New Jersey following the east coast Hurricane but not on the Texas border.  Seems to me that the Hurricane was a one day event while the border situation is a perpetual difficulty with much more potential harm.

I know how popular it seems to be to suggest that Smitty posts articles written by "lying right wing bloggers"  Lets use his post here as an example.  Can some of my esteemed lefty participants show me what is not true about this article?  I am wanting to know if it is a blatant lie where the subject matter is simply made up and not true?  Or is it a half lie where parts of it are true but are interspersed with untruths, thereby manipulating the minds of the weak into believing the entire article is accurate?  If the second option applies, simply point out the parts that are untrue.  Thank you in advance.

He said things are less violent than they have ever been even though Israel has deployed ground troops, Isis has taken over Iraq, and the plane was shot down.  My guess is he will take no position on either.  Sort of like voting "present" 75% of the time when he was in the Senate.  After all, we do not want to seem arrogant and dismissive

Sorry, the coach has a much better view and UNDERSTANDING of the game than the players- hence the name coach- As previously stated, there is MUCH MORE WISDOM within 20 years of coaching and winning experience than there is with a teenager .  The play didnt work or the play wasnt executed as drawn up?  What experience does a teenager have in last second situations?  Let me give you another clue.  The game is not won or lost in the last few seconds but rather how things were handled the entire game.  I dont blame you  for not wanting to talk basketball anymore because your theory has less credibility than the national debt theory.
