I agree but it "sounds so good" and lots of people make judgements based upon good sounds instead of good judgement.

For the umpteenth time, instead of just implying that Fox news is constantly lying, give us two or three TANGIBLE examples. And I don't mean using a 5 year old kid saying "I cant believe they said that" Susan Rice said the video caused the Benghazi issue. She more recently said that the soldier rescued from Afghanistan served with distinction. Are either one of those stories remotely close to accurate? Is it racist for me to point that out? ( Her remarks were on every major network)

In a lot of cases, the cry of racism is intended to silence opposition of whatever point is being discussed. I am troubled enough by that and will not be "silenced" by those methods. In fact, it motivates me to be louder.

I agree with you. You and I have not been subjected to that and we have no way of knowing how that feels. There is no doubt about that But I very much am offended by the suggestion that my criticism of the President is founded in racism. His economic approach is counterproductive and I have the right to support it or oppose it without being told I only oppose it because he is black. I oppose it because it doesn't work. If I bring up Solyndra or Benghazi, I am told it is because I don't like a black person being President. We are now in an environment where it is ASSUMED that a white guy is racist unless he says something or takes an action "proving" that he isn't. I have a real problem with that. If my memory is correct, one is supposed to be innocent till proven guilty.

You are right. But apparently you don't mind the "rooting" if it goes in one direction but it seems to trouble you if it goes in the other.

Well, its pretty late in Obamas term also

Face it Dove, its racism but you aren't going anywhere near that subject because the "wrong end" is guilty

NBC’s Bias Becomes Embarrassingly Obvious...

You are now one dimensional- but still compassionate and concerned how the little guy gets treated by the fat cats, right? -
Smitty & Stevenash - When Will The Wealth Trickle Down?
stevenash replied to EnlightenedChosenOne's topic in Political Forum
Jobs are being shipped overseas because the corporate tax rate is about 10 percentage points higher here than it is overseas. But you are the one who insists higher taxes is what make an economy successful. No need to google this or ask thinkprogress.org. This too is a fact just as the unprecedented 17trillion debt is- neither of which you can alter or justify -

Look at the employment numbers under the individuals you named and decide yourself. Also look at the debt level under the individuals you named and compare them to Obama and decide yourself. Of course, that wont work because even though the national debt has gone from 10 trillion to 17 trillion during the Obama Presidency, you just brush it off as a "lie" or something made up by Fox. -
Is the fact that it took so long for us to elect a Black President good enough reason for him to never be questioned or criticized? ( and by the way, there were a number of people who referred to Bush as Hitler and they have no problem with that one whatsoever)

Families Of Burglar Thugs Shot By Old Widow Want To Sue
stevenash replied to BLUEDOVE3's topic in The Locker Room
IN the last few weeks, there was a lady in Nome who was robbed and pistol whipped in her home. She lost a considerable amount of money and is still recovering from some very serious injuries and dealing with the loss of a lot of blood. She keeps a gun by her bedstand. If another intruder shows up and turns his back to her when she gets ready to fire, should she be sued? -
When you voted for Kerry, Gore, and Clinton, what black choices did you have? Never voted for Sharpton or Jackson and never will. They exploit situations for their personal economic advantage as opposed to helping anyone. If you look back a couple of years on this board, I was very much of a supporter of Herman Cain. I supported Mr. Cain NOT because he was black but becaues of his business qualifications.( of which Mr. Obama had ZERO, ZILCH, NONE) If you give me the uncle tom speech at this point, you simply confirm what others suspect you of. It might interest you to know that there are a couple of inter racial marriages in my family and neither of those partners perceive me as racist. I have some other news for you. Voting for a black person is NOT an indicator of whether or not an individual is a racist just as not crying at a funeral is not an indication that the loss of a loved one must be validated ONLY with tears. You are very impressed with symbolic "proof" of not being a racist rather than substantive proof. I could have easily told you that I had, in the past, voted for someone black and you probably would have accepted that as "proof". Thats baloney. I know hundreds of people who never miss church but live their lives in a manner that neither their religion or church approves. Now tell me, and please be honest. Should I tell you that you were wrong to criticize the HJ coaching staff because it was racist? Should I insist that they cannot be criticized because they are white?

Oh YES it is and without a doubt. Any idiot can research it and verify it. I know how helpless it feels when you cant find a site that will dispute it but I thought you could do something better than just lie about what you discovered when you tried to find data to the contrary.

NBC’s Bias Becomes Embarrassingly Obvious...

Thanks for the update on Tamron Hill. You are instructing everyone else to seek multiple sources in order to come to a conclusion, but for you, Ms. Hill is sufficient. Congrats ( I cant see whatever you link you posted as my business email has blocked it) -
Sorry Dove, but the color of ones skin and the history of race relations in this country do not, under any circumstance, provide the individual occupying the highest office in the country exemption from scrutiny and criticism. Mr. Bush received (and still receives, for that matter) a lot of criticism and it was because people disagreed with how he ran the office. Why should it be any different with Mr. Obama?(since they are/were both Presidents, the main common denominator) Sometimes it would appear that those who cry loudest about the desire for equal treatment, actually want better than equal treatment in order for things to be equal from their perspective.

Dove, do you believe we would know anything about Benghazi or the IRS or the VA if there was no Fox news? -

So Dove, you believe I am a baiter and not a debater? Permit me to remind you that it is NOT me who repeatedly says things such as " but maybe your problem or the real issue goes deeper than that" -

Fox has a large viewership. But, I forgot that while majorities rule in Presidential races(" allegedly reflecting the desires of the people") they are insignificant when it comes to polls regarding Obamacare and polls regarding tv viewership as well as House of Representative elections and governership elections -
A lot who support the President do so because he is part black, because I refuse to believe that people think the things reported on MSNBC are true.

Yes, check MSNBC and NBC and then ABC. That ought to do it. -
